The extraordinary creamy lipstick-like quality of these pastels makes them a pleasure to use. Rich in pigment most with outstanding opacity they cover incredibly well and have excellent lightfastness. These pastels were developed in collaboration with Picasso and Goetz in a palette very close to oil paints. Thinned with turpentine they may be worked with a brush and are compatible with all traditional oil mediums. They can be applied to any surface: paper canvas wood or metal - an exciting addition for mixed media works. Sennelier Oil Pastels are offered in 105 colors including 16 iridescent (6 of which are interference colors) 6 fluorescent 5 metallic and 78 Classic Colors. Individually priced.
