Royal Velvet Warming Electric Blanket

I ordered this blanket to give as a gift at Christmas. It arrived quickly and in time for the holiday. I feels luxurious.

I have been searching for a heated blanket for a gift and found that soo many had horrible reviews. The ones in the local stores were not of quality even the really expensive ones. I know that Royal Velvet is a popular well known name and when I saw this blanket and read all the wonderful reviews I had to order it! When it arrived it was even so much better in person. It is sooo soft and the dual controls are wonderful! The wires are also so small and like someone else said it is nice that the wires do not run all the way to ends and bottom of the blanket so that it can be tucked in. Beautiful blanket and the quality is amazing!

VERY IMPRESSED. CAME SO FAST. BEAUTIFUL SHADE OF BLUE. LIKED THE COTTON FABRIC AS OPPOSED TO POLYESTER AND IT'S NOT TOO HEAVY. LARGE LIGHTED DIALS WITH 10-HR SHUTOFF ARE PERFECT FOR ME. ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THAT A BIT OF FUZZ CAME OFF ONTO MY BLACK SHEETS.

now i slumber, with this blanket and new memory foam pad . . . overstock, please stock king size in this Royal Velvet electric blanket . . . as other reviewers comment, wires are so small that i am unaware of them . . . blanket is lightweight 80% velvety soft cotton and controls are easy to read and operate . . . thank you Overstock!

I like many qualities of the queen sized blanket, such as the twin dials, auto shut off, but wish that there were some sort of automatic temperature adjustment or timer. I would like it to start out warmer, then have the temperature reduce over the course of time it is on; or have a timer that I could set it to be at a 7 for 3 hrs then shut off.
