I used to pluck my underarms because shaving made the hairs thick and prickly...but it takes forever. This works just like plucking but is so much faster! I also used to have to pay to have my upper lip waxed, but now this epi will pay for itself in just a few uses! I have a fairly high pain tolerance, but if you're used to plucking and waxing, you'll love this product!!

Anyways. I love it! Maybe i have a high tolerance for pain, but I barely feel it on my bikini area! Its such a great little thing u can take with you anywhere! Just dont drop it in the water!

This is my first electric shaver, therefore I'm not sure how it's suppose to feel. But I can tell you that this shaver HURTS!!!! It was so uncomfortable that I had to resort to my manual shaver. I'm not sure how effective it is because I couldn't bare the discomfort. It is likely that I wasn't using it properly but I'm afraid to ever use it again. PAINFUL!!!!

I use this product on my legs, arm pits, arms, & bikini line. It works well at removing the hair most of the time, but I noticed that sometimes it just breaks the hair instead of yanking it out (mostly on thin hairs like on my arms). The hair that it yanks out doesn't grow back for a long time. It's actually quite painless, but after using for a while my legs got a lot of ingrown hairs that looked quite ugly, so I went back to shaving my legs and using my epilator on the rest of my body, because for some reason, it didn't cause ingrown hairs anywhere else. I do recommend this product, especially for people looking for their first epilator. It is a lot cheaper than other epilators so it's good to try out to make sure you like using epilators as your choice for hair removal.

I used this for my underarms.. it does get MOST of the hair but not completely ALL so I had to manually pluck the rest. Didn't hurt for me. Not much of a mess as wax would be. Kinda loud. You would get use to the sensation.

This is my first epilator, and so far so good! It's not too painful at all, but it does take a little getting used to. No skin pinching, just hair plucking. I'm using it on my legs, and I strongly suggest using rechargeable batteries (so you can always have a fresh pair of batteries handy)! I use it on my legs when I get home from work and am watching tv. It's nice now that when I shower, I save time by not shaving my legs - so that alone makes this a very worthwhile machine.

I don't know what happened with this thing. I read all the reviews, and normally I have a high pain tolerance, but this thing KILLED. I read the directions and did what I was supposed to do, and it clipped my skin, missed hairs, and put me in a lot of pain. After about a minute, I was too scared to put it anywhere near my body again. Also, the hairs I did get were really hard to clean out with the little brush they give. Instead, I bought wax at the grocery store for $5 and that worked perfectly.

It works great! The better the batteries - the faster the pull - thus less pain. I tried it first as suggested by another customer to see if I liked it and was very surprised how little it hurt. Of course, once the batteries wore down - the underarm is a little harder to take, so I suggest only new batteries for that or the bikini area.
Have just ordered the bigger model. [...] I'm very pleased!
I'm sure you could find one that works!

I purchased this primarly for removing facial hair. The process is relativly painless. The results are wonderful. Hairs do not grow back as fast and are lighter when they do as well as few hairs. I would suggest this product for any one looking for a great hair removal system.
