I was shocked to see the negative reviews. I love this trimmer. I have been using this trimmer for several years. Being 60% bald, I go with the shaved/buzz trim look. I trim the head 5-6 times a months (a little over once a week). 1. Being rechargeable is awesome. No cords in the shower. One charge lasts 2-3 trims. 2. It trims perfectly. 3. It's quiet. 4. It's small and travels wonderfully.

Unfortunately 1-star is the lowest rating I can choose. I had to return this product as soon as I opened the package and read the instructions. Target is making claims about this product that are in direct opposition to the manufacturers recommended usage. Most importantly, despite the claims that it can be used in the shower, that it is washable, and the watery images on the packaging; this appliance is NOT intended to be used near water.
Please take a look at the Remington website before buying this product. It is NOT waterproof. In fact the Care and Use Instructions clearly say "KEEP AWAY FROM WATER". Furthermore it says,"Always ensure the trimmer is switched off when cleaning or when using in water." The cleaning instructions say, "To clean unit wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately."

I bought this to replace my broken beard trimmer this thing is horrible. Would not recommend this trimmer I will be returning this quickly. It pulls my hair BAD!
