I stopped on a whim and bought this over the weekend for a road trip to chicago. It was AWESOME! It got me everywhere I needed to go with voice commands... it has a landmark function if you do not know the address. It does have volume control, yes, but you cant blast the radio while listening to her. You should set destination while parked before driving, not during. The trick for an update on how you are doing is to tap the upper left corner. which says how much further to the next turn. It has a save favorite location function too.
For the price this was excellent! Love it! Its portable too.

I absolutely love this GPS system! I just bought it tonight for a cost at my local target and it has everything. I don't know what the other person is talking about because it has volume control. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! This device also has voice activation! I just can't believe that I lucked out and got it on clearance! I also love that it comes with so many accessories and it also comes with three different colored face plates!

Although it's not bulky like the more commonly purchased GPS systems, it unfortunatly isnt as easy to use as the others. You cannot increase or decrease the volume. You have on or mute unless I haven't figured out how to control it..that shouldn't be difficult right!?
You have to touch the screen way too many times to get to a function, that takes your focus off the road way too much for me. A friend has one of the bulky ones that have everything on the screen so you touch the function, read the info, then touch to return...I just don't like the heavy GPS systems and now that I have this one and can't return the darn thing I have to adjust to it!!!
