further growing instructions

I've planted the tomato seeds and the seeds did very well. When the plants were two weeks old I thinned them down to 5 plants per basket (I have 2 baskets). The plants are now 6/7 inches tall and their main stalk is very fragile. Do I need to eventually stake the plants for support? When should I fertilize and what kind of fertilizer do you recommend? Do you have a web site that I can go for further information?
