Good for amount paid

I am currently using this in my humidor at home. I salt tested this unit and found it to be +1% humidity. Not a bad unit for the price. Got mine on clearance for $7.

Works well except for very low exterior temperatures

I recently bought this thermometer. Interior and exterior readings, and humidity read very close to what I expected based on the settings on my digital thermostat. When I set it up for exterior temperature, it shows "LL" which I take to mean it's too cold for it to read the temperature. (currently 18 degrees F.)

For the price it seems to be an excellent product, but I can't find any information on how low it is supposed to read for exterior temp. ( I didn't try it in the refrigerator before mounting the external probe.)
