Great tote for 6 classes but then the handle broke off. I was very disappointed - I didn't abuse it - just rolling it to class. I wouldn't recommend it.

This sewing machine case was an excellent find. It is sturdy and padded on all sides. I have one of the larger sewing machines(Janome/New Home 6600)and it fit perfectly in this bag with room to spare. Pockets for storage are conveniently placed. The handle and roller system make the whole package easily transportable.

While I do think this tote is a great bag especially for the price, the dimensions described must refer to the outer dimensions of the product and even then mine is not quite 13 3/4in long as described. While the width of the bag will easily accomodate most types of machines the length (or depth if you will) limits it's use for me so back it goes.
I might add that it is March 8th and I ordered this Dec 21st 2006, so the online ordering was very slow for this product!

I searched the web & stores trying to find the perfect tote for my sewing machine. This one is perfect. It has plenty of space & compartments, & best of all it is a lot sturdier than anything else I tried.

I've searched high and low, online and in stores for a sewing tote large enough to fit either of my full size machines (one is an embroidery machine.)
THIS is the one!
It's a great size (which fits either machine with room to spare), has good size wheels, ample additional storage and a strong telescopic handle.
The exterior is not vinyl, but more of a luggage type fabric of which is very appealing as I plan to personalize it with a white fabric stamp pad and hawaiian rubber stamps.
