Description
Typically, dehumidifiers monitor the humidity in the air within six to eight feet of the unit. This dehumidifier’s remote sensor/control monitors the humidity level up to 50 feet away. With radio-frequency technology, the sensor/control can transmit settings through walls to maintain the desired humidity in the entire area. The sensor/control can be easily mounted on the wall or placed on a flat surface with its fold-out back support. With its low-temperature operation(removing moisture in the air in temperatures down to 45° F), you can use this electronic dehumidifier longer throughout the year. ENERGY STAR® qualified, this model has a fan-only setting for added convenience and comfort. This dehumidifier can remove up to 40 pints of moisture per day.

This connection does not drain the reservoir completly leaving about 1 1/2" of water at all times. My other dehumidifiers left the reservoir dry when not running. I feel this is not a desirable condition.
