CRAPOLA

Reviewer:  Kittenfish  (Nashvegas)  See all my reviews

I got this as a gift and was really excited about some simple sewing projects. I don't have the heart to tell my sis that this was a terrible purchase. (I didn't want her to spend too much money.) This machine has cheap plastic parts and it is nearly impossible to get it to sew a stitch for more than a few inches before it gives up. It also chews up thread pretty quickly. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. I wish I could have given it ZERO stars.

Do NOT buy this

Reviewer:  Mommy 2 5 "Dee"  (Tulsa, OK)  See all my reviews

I wish I would have paid closer attention to the reviews before purchasing this sewing machine. I did think the price would be great for a 10 and 12 year old to learn from. The sewing machine is a piece of crap! do not buy it!!!!

Terrible sewing machine

Reviewer:  Taco Terrier Mama  See all my reviews

I have not been able to complete a single project with this machine. Quality is extremely poor. Underside ends up looking like a rats nest of thread. I have read the manual and followed instructions exactly and cannot adjust it to work properly.

Horrible Piece of Junk

Real Name

My mom bought me this for christmas and I opened it up she regreted buying it because it was all made out of plastic. Then, I told her not to worry about it so when I was threading it I relized it had the most complicated instructions. My mom even tried and she couldn't even figure it out. Don't buy unless your a genius and know how to read complicated instructions.

Junk

Reviewer:  Velvet "Just in case"  (nj)  See all my reviews

I got this for my daughter for Christmas, I followed the instructions to the tee and could not get this machine to sew. It would start and then the stitch would just fall apart. Spend a little more and get a better machine. My mom even came over to make sure I had it threaded properly, and she used to be a seamstress.

Good bargain

Reviewer:  NYCguy  (New York City)  See all my reviews

I recently bought the Quickstitch sewing machine. For basic sewing & hemming, this machine is great. It's a nice tight stitch, in two lengths. It's easy to thread and functions well.

The only real downside is that it feels a little cheap, because most of it is plastic (arm, foot, etc.).

Overall, though, it's a great value for the money. I'd say that it's excellent for beginners and anyone who just wants a small, portable machine to do some basic sewing. Recommended.

Needing the Instruction Manual

Reviewer:  JamiLynn  (Thomasville, GA)  See all my reviews

My niece got the SewPro for Christmas, she was so excited, although the instructions were thrown away with the wrapping paper would anyone know how to contact the company to get another copy. Or would anyone be able to make copies of there and mail them to me?
