It should really only have a half of a star. I recieved this sewing machine as a gift one Christmas and I'm sorry to say but this machine is frustrating. After every three or four stitches, it tangles up! Now I'm buying myself a more high quality machine. It's okay to splurge for some high quality sometimes!

I was skeptical about buying this after reading the reviews, but I am so glad that went ahead and tried it out. This is great! I know nothing about sewing and easily figured it out. I have made many things with it and have not yet had a problem. I love how small it is, I can store it anywhere and it doesn't take up any space. An added bonus is all the thread and "stuff" it comes with. I highly recommend this for doing small projects!!

I too bought this little machine and what a hassle. I don't live that close to the store so taking it back was a PIA! I should have been reimbursed for gas!
The machine has tension problems which caused me stress. I then got the neighbor to come as she is a professional seamstress and she could not get this to stitch properly either.

I bought this and took it back to the store 3 days later because every time I would start to sew the thread would get tangled in with the rest of the thread. I thought it was me but my mother tried it and it did the same. They say you get what you pay for and as you all can see it's only $30.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this for a Christmas present for a 10 year old and was so disappointed with the performance, I returned it to the store. I spent quite a long time trying to get the tension adjusted - never got there. At first the machine would do about 3 to 4 stiches and jam. I finally got it to sew the length of a cloth napkin but the stitches on the bottom were horrible. I am looking into a Singer or Brother for her. I decided not to buy another machine until I have read some reviews. This machine is one I would definitely not recommend.

This one is going back. Tried using it and it will start to stitch ok and then the bobbin goes haywire. The stitches on the back are not uniform and they get all tangled. Stitches like one of those small hand sewers. Looks like I'll be splurging for a real sewing machine.

I've been sewing for many years and this is a great sewing machine. It travels well and easy to use. I've had it for many months now with out any problems. Its great for small and large projects.

If there were a 0 star option, I would have given it a 0. This is the worst sewing machine ever. I just bought it to mend things and do hems and it NEVER worked. I spent a whole day making sure I followed each step and I know how to sew! I have used machines for years. I moved away from home, where I used my grandma's machine when I needed. I thought I would just get this to do minor work. I ended up having to sew by hand after all.

I just wanted to do some little projects with this thing and not invest a lotof $$. It pooped out after one project (which was only sewing a christmas stocking together.) Now the lower thread doesn't sew. I've spent the last three hours trying to make this sucker work, and I've given up. This thing doesn't work--and of course I don't have my receipt from 9 months ago. I wasted my money, but I hope you don't waste yours. Cheap product, cheaper results.

I just got this sewing machine and it works great. I don't know ANYTHING about sewing but I was able to get it working without any problems. It also comes with tones of extra stuff. Would definately buy it again.
