SORRY, BUT I BOUGHT THIS ITEM PURELY FOR THE COMPACT SIZE,
AND LEARNED THAT WASN'T REASON ENOUGH TO PURCHASE AN
APPLIANCE. THE TOAST BURNED AT THE BACK AND DIDN'T
TOAST NEAR THE FRONT OF THE OVEN.

Wow, same exact review as the other one. Bought it as a little Christmas extra surprise and it worked exactly one week. We used it twice. I figure that $20 two times for two orders of plain toast. Lovely. Same story as other review, knobs cracked first time, split and popped off second time. Here's the really odd annoying part. The toaster loudly clicks like a time bomb for one hour after being unplugged! Heats unevenly and started a tiny fire with one of the $20 toasts. This is not just a bad product it should be discontinued.

I purchased two of these as Christmas gifts for family members. Both broke within a week. The knobs cracked and the front fell off! Buy a name brand...you'll be better off.
