Too flimsy, small, inefficient

My old standby kicked the bucket so darling husband decided to be a dear and got this for me. I wasn't worried that it only made two, but the thinness of the waffles are pretty bad. The inside keeps coming out overdone and the edges underdone. They are quite rubbery when you reheat them. 9 times out of 10 it overflows. After only two weeks I'm getting a different one.
