Soon after I bought this mixer a little piece broke off. No big deal I thought, it still works. But a few months later the whole thing quit working. It seemed to beat egg whites and cream really quickly, but broke so soon that I would not recommend it.

My boyfriend didn't have a mixer at his house so I bought this one because the Kitchen Aid was sold out. Big mistake. I made cookies that night and this thing was way too fast. Whipped up everything so the consistency was not right! Even he came in to see if everything was okay because he heard the motor over the tv. Ha! Bonus star for being lightweight.

I've had this mixer for about 6 months and I really like it. I love that is has the old school flat beaters like my mom's and grandmother's mixers. They do a great job on mashed potatoes and just about everything. My only complaint is that it doesn't really have a low speed. You have to be very careful or you'll have splatter everywhere! It's pretty powerful, which is great when you're trying to thoroughly mix something. I would definitely recommend it, especially considering the price. Frankly, it surpasses my expensive Kitchen Aid handmixer, with it's lame wire beaters that don't mix anything nearly as well!

Awesome looking mixer; unfortunately, the mixer goes from extremely fast to turbo jet fast. There is no slow or even an in between medium speed. I had cake batter splattered all over my kitchen. This mixer is going back today.

I bought this mixer, because of the price, and the color went with all of the appliances in my kitchen. It does the job, however there is no low speed what so ever with this mixer. It goes automatically to a turbo speed. Spend a little more money for the better mixer.

I received this mixer as a house warming gift several months ago and i think its great..mixes the best mashed potatoes, i don't have the problem that the other reviews complain about, i think its a great buy and just bought one for my sister because she liked it so much, highly recommended...

This mixer is very loud - no beater eject button which makes getting the beaters out of the mixer very messy. Also, whatever you are mixing creeps into the holes where the beaters attach making even a bigger mess. Not worth the money - skip on this model.
