Only worked one time!

Reviewer:  Tylu  (Georgia)  See all my reviews

I bought this blender last week after my Krups blender of 9 years stopped working. I used it one time to make a smoothie and it worked ok- not great, but ok. I put the same ingredients in as I have in my old Krups blender, this blender required a lot more coaxing to get everything mixed up. It did eventually make a good and smooth smoothie, but I had to stop it and help it several times. I put all the ingredients in for my smoothie this morning, plugged it in, pushed the button and nothing. It doesn't work anymore after one use.

Stopped working after 5 months

Reviewer:  smoothiegal "smoothiegal"  (California)  See all my reviews

My husband and I bought this blender after our Oster blender broke, it seemed to have great reviews. We used this to make our morning frozen fruit smoothies and the blender worked fine as long as we had enough liquid in the jar, otherwise the fruit would not blend properly. After 5 months the blender completely stopped working and the motor burned out. I wouldn't recommend this one for regular smoothie drinkers, get one of higher quality.

Buy this blender!!

I'd had trouble in the past finding a blender that would break up ice for smoothies, but I finally found one that did the trick! I make smoothies all the time with this blender and it works like a charm, mixes up the ice completely.....no ice chunks left! It is also really easy to wash! Buy this blender!!

Good But Fragile

Reviewer:  ksisaacs  (Brooklyn, NY USA)  See all my reviews

Purchased this blender because it was the only one in the store with 700 watts. It worked just fine but after moving it from one place to another, the base unit that holds the blender cracked! Powerful blender and great if you need to break up ice and other rock hard items in a matter a seconds!

Finally, a blender that really WORKS!!

Reviewer:  SingingWoman  (Minneapolis, MN, USA)  See all my reviews

I first bought a popular brand-name blender, but after doing some research, I took it back unopened and exchanged it for this blender. I am SO GLAD I did! I have been making health smoothies on a regular basis since I bought this blender, and this blender has been handling it like a PRO. After placing all the ingredients into the jar and varying between pressing the ice breaker, smoothie and icy drink buttons a few times, the Wave Action kicks in and BOOM! I got my health smoothie!

I HIGHLY recommend this blender to everyone who likes to make smoothies, milkshakes, soups, margaritas, etc. It's cost friendly, looks great, easy to clean and put back together and works extremely well. If you don't have it, GET IT NOW! :)

Finally, a blender that REALLY DOES WORK!

Reviewer:  VLM123 "Bookworm"  (Minneapolis)  See all my reviews

I first purchased a Black and Decker blender from Target a couple of weeks ago. When I brought it home, however, I somehow grew skeptical that it would work, did some more research about the best blenders via the internet and decided to exchange the Black and Decker blender for the Michael Graves Hamilton Beach blender.

I absolutely LOVE this blender! It seems to blend almost ANYTHING to near perfection. My husband threw together a strawberry-banana smoothie earlier this week and the blender whipped it up without problem! Just this morning, I made the Jackie Warner Skylab Shake with NO PROBLEMS AT ALL! I bought it with a couple of gift cards given to me for X-mas, and this is absolutely one of the favorite gifts I gave to myself! If you like to make smoothies, milkshakes, soups or whatever else requires blending on a regular basis, GET THIS ONE AND GET IT NOW!

So Far, Excellent Blender!!!

Reviewer:  Happy Mommy of 2 girls  (Lakeville, MN, USA)  See all my reviews

I just bought this blender today, and so far, I'm very pleased! It crushes ice effortlessly and quickly and leaves a smooth consistency which will be great when making smoothies and such. And it mashes fruits and veggies for baby food in mere seconds. There are lots of speed options to choose from and with 700 watts at peak power, it is loud, but what would you expect? I highly recommend this blender!

Love this blender

I bought this blender in a Target store a few weeks ago, and I've been using it every day since then. It has performed beautifully. I make a smoothie every morning and it hasn't failed me yet. It is a little loud, but it works so well that I don't have to blend for very long. Also, it doesn't have a ton of parts so it's easy to wash and put back together. Compared to the Oster blender I used to have, I'd day this one is superior.
