Just got this a few weeks ago and we use it all the time to make smoothies. We crush the ice a little first before we put it in the blender. The size is perfect and easy to put in the dishwasher. Works excellent and would definitely recommend it. Pulse rather than leave it running-it's better than the motor.

I received this as a Chrismas gift and I love it! Ive always wanted one of the Bullet blender sets but they are kind of pricey and never wanted to buy it. I have had this for a while and use it all of the time to make margaritas and daquiris. My friend mixes up omlets in them! I know you can also grind coffee beans and things like that with the flat blade. Definately worth the money!

I got this as Christmas present for my girlfriend since she has been wanting the Magic Bullet for a long time. The only reason I bought this one is because I thought it looked cooler than the magic bullet. There is nothing "magic" about the Bella Cucina Rocket. I would like to meet the so-called "chef" who designed this machine and punch her in the face! ;) That's all I can really say. I'm disgusted by it's performance.

I used the blender for months for making shakes on my way to the gym with no problems, but then it started leaking. The gasket ended up in my cup and then finally the gasket broke. If they could fix the gasket it would be a great blender.

Good little blender, but within the first 5 usages, it started leaking. The fifth time I used it, the gasket wrapped itself around the blades and broke. To top it off, the blade unit turned by itself into lock mode, and I had to unplug the unit and fight with it before getting it unstuck. When I called to get a new blade unit and gasket, they told me to take it back to the store because they didn't have anything other than gaskets yet. They said the stores knew about the situation. To top it off, they weren't the freindliest customer service agents.

The only thing I've tried blending with this is thawed fruit, fresh bananas, supplement powder, and ice. So far, the only blender of this sort that I haven't had trouble with is the Bullet which is a bit pricey for what you get.

The first smoothie I made was great, the ice blended perfectly, and everything was so smoothe. Then the second time, it blended but got stuck on the base. I quickly unplugged it, but I smelled burnt metal. I had to return it to Target with the smoothie still in the cup, stuck to the base, and leaking out.. GROSS!
By the way, I was very dissappointed that Target wouldn't refund my shipping on this defective item:(

Loved this lil' blender to deathe when I first got it.

I made banana shakes every morning, my mom would make her protein shakes, and makes a delicious chocolate smoothie too. Was really great to make individual servings for our different taste.

Though after awhile, the rubber ring that would be needed to blend broke-the both of them-and it's not all to easy to find another. I'm trying to look on the Bella Cucina site and nothing. So I'm not too sure 'bout it now, I can't use my blender and can't find a way to fix it.

I didn't think I'd use this as much as I do. And I'm worried about the motor breaking, but it's loud and sounds strong. It grinds ice like crazy. We use it to make smoothies all the time. I tried making salsa but it ground it too finely. Maybe if you chop it first and only grind it for a few seconds...didn't seem to work for me. Well, it's a great little blender, and is used all the time in my house! :)

I use my rocket blender everyday to make a protein shake using nuts that were softened in water and vinegar overnight and it really works. I would never be able to drink the shake if the rocket didn't make them fine.

this is a very loud thing, but very cool.i have only had it 4 months and i have al ready created over 48 smothies,over 23 omlets,over 20 frozen coffee drinks!
i love it!like try this.....BUY IT! it is a great thing to add to your kitchen!
