This Bassimet is okay. I bought it before my daughter was born and put it together in my 8th month of pregnancy with no ral problems. When my daugther got home, I put her in the bassinet for naps and bedtime but it seemed like she hated it! I think it is too hard. She sleeps fine on the couch or chair and my bed. I plan to buy some type of padding while she is still small enough to sleep in it...and to get my money's worth!

My son was 10lbs 10oz at birth and has been using this bassinet since 4 weeks old. He has had no problems sleeping in this bassinet. I wish the weight limit was higher because I don't want to move him into a crib yet. It took my husband a little while to put it together because our locking mechanism was upside down too. Overall, I think it's a sturdy bassinet. I haven't been able to find sheets to fit the mattress though. That would be the only downfall I could think of.

This was given to me for my daughter and unfortunetly was hardly used. She didn't seem to like it and wasn't comfortable. The pad is very thin and I didn't like the feel of the cover that came on it but all the other covers I purchased wouldn't fit the pad for this bassinet. The canopy doesn't come off and the only way I could keep it out of the way was to remove the plastic from it and lay it back. The light was nice but wasn't a fan of the music. I put it together myself and as did others, I had trouble with the lock. Even when it was locked it still moved a bit and made a loud noise when it did. Three of the wheels worked fine but the fourth one kept falling out and was very loose. While trying to move it the carpet must have caught the loose wheel just the right way and it split the wood of the leg! Not as good of quality as I expected from Eddie Bauer. After about a week of trying, we ended up using the bassinet attachment to the Graco Pack n Play and she loved it! Gave it two stars for looks and the light feature.

This bassinet is great. The directions are easy. My husband put it together in about 45 minutes, maybe and hour with no problems. We were quite skeptical because it did not have the best reviews. I think maybe some people just didnt follow the directions correctly and put it together wrong and thats why people had trouble with the wheels falling off. Mine are just fine and I roll it around the room quite a bit and they havent ever fallen off. The vibrtaion is a bit noicy for me( it has two speeds also) , but We'll see if the baby likes it.The music is great, and i love the nightlight feature.Turn in it on and check on baby, hit the button again and it just fades out.Mattress pad is thin but most are when buying any bassinet not just this one.I will probably buy another thicker pad.Its not to wide or to big like most other bassinets i looked at.So if your cramped on space, this is another great feature.I would reccomend this bassinet !!

With a 15-lb weight limit and a price of [..], this bassinet doesn't last long enough to even be worth it. You will only use it a couple or 3 months unless your baby is a big one, then even less. This isn't the one I wanted but my husband thought it LOOKED good and that's all he cared about. It's very sturdy and it does look nice.
What I don't like is the low weight limit, the fact that it can tilt if your baby learns how to roll and she moves herself too far to one side, the mattress is flimsy as heck (it collapses when I put a fitted bassinet sheet on it) and my daughter moves herself up towards the top until her head is rubbing against the headboard which has no cushioning, so her head is just hitting pine with a thin piece of material on it which makes her uncomfortable and she starts tossing and turning.

I thought i had to have a bassenet and liked the look of this one and figured it would do the job. As a first time mom i had no idea what to look for. There were many problems with this product. The canapy doesnt come off and is always in the way when getting baby in and out of the cradle. When it is adjusted to the rock position the baby can roll into the sides. When it is in the lock position it still moves slightly when the baby moves and this makes a knocking sound, which was loud enough to wake me, always when i had finally gotten to sleep. My son was a big baby 9lbs 9oz and he didnt fit in it very well after about 8 weeks. He did fit, but would bump the sides with his hands or feet and wake himself up. Anyway, i could go on and on, but my point is made. If I were to do it again i would just get a pack'n play, which is what we are using now. We have the Graco one, with the bassinet option. Its great. Good luck-

The locking mechanism on this bassinet was put on upside down at the factory. We got it put together, then it wouldn't rock. We took apart the lock, and then realized it was on upside down. I never would've figured this out. I would've returned the bassinet, but luckily someone figured this out for me. Besides that it's a nice bassinet.

very difficult to put together. the locking mechanism is a jock. it doesnt lock prperly in the middle and it gets stuck in the air to the left until released, i thought it was suposed to swing if unlocked. i have carpet so the wheels fall off when i roll it to another room. i give it one star because of its sleek looks but honestly it looked better in the store i think. i am not to sure about the bedding, it seems like when my baby finally comes i wont beable to rest at ease with him in the bassinet, in fear of suffication. i just dont trust those tiny peices of velcro holding it up.

This is very sturdy bassinet. It is a little tricky to put together because of the locking mechanism, but after I got it right it was great. The light and sounds are good and the baby seems to like it. Rolls very easy when locks are off.

My mother in law purchased this bassinet for my, SURPRISE, son.I wasn't planning on having anymore and then 7 years later number 3 arrives. My husband didn't have any problems putting this together. You can easily move it from room to room. The only down fall was that the cover on the bassinet didn't fold back. So when you took your baby out he/she may hit the cover. It won't hurt them, it was just an inconvenience. I hated to get rid of but my son, now 5 months old, reached the weight limit (15lbs.) at 2 1/2 months. But I still highly recommend it.
