I don't normally take the time to write reviews but I wanted to share how thankful I am to have this. My 2 month old son has slept in this since we brought him home and it is wonderful. He is right there next to me which gives him comfort and gives me peace of mind. All I have to do is reach over and touch him and he falls right back to sleep. Also makes middle of the night feedings a breeze. The bed is a bit hard but I have him sleeping on a Bobby Sleep Positioner which is softer and works out great. We also have a high bed so I had to buy the leg extenders which you can find by searching the web. My husband had this put together in about 15 minutes without much trouble. Well worth the price!

This co-sleeper was a godsend with our first daughter. She had a very hard time sleeping in her crib, and this was the perfect solution to keeping her close, remaining safe, and having easy access to the baby for breastfeeding in the middle of the night. We used the co-sleeper for several months, and plan to again with baby #2!

I LOVE this product. It's the BEST. Not only is my daughter literally arm's reach away but feedings in the middle of the night (especially for those breastfeeding) are GREAT and EASY. She goes right back to sleep after feeding and so do I!! I don't even have to put one foot on the floor!! I'm going to really miss this when she's all grown up:) PLUS its GREAT being able to peak over and having her little face right there next to me.

This is one of the best products we bought for our daughter's arrival! I love having her sleep next to me and I can nurse her without getting out of bed, maximizing my sleep! It is an attractive product and looks nice in our bedroom. We will definitely use this product for our next baby! The only drawback is that I don't want her to go into her big crib!!

One of the best purchases we made! We wanted the baby in our room in the beginning but didn't feel safe with him sleeping in our bed. This was perfect, makes night time feedings a lot easier (especially after recovering from a c-section). We put a changing pad at the bottom and never even have to get out of bed at night (the mini is big enough). The only down side is that the mattress is thin and very hard, but we used a sleep positioner that has padding and it solves the problem. We had family and friends try to talk us out of buying this, saying it wasn't necessary. Boy were they wrong, SO happy we bought this. Highly recomended.

I received this exact same mini co-sleeper as a shower gift and loved it! It was so convienent for a breastfeeding working mom. However, my son is now 7 months old and has long since grown out of it. When i tried to take it apart, the bars would not unlock. I worked at it for hours. I'm not going to store this thing all set up, so now my plan is to just toss it in the trash because that is all it is now. My advice is to purchase a graco pack n play that comes with a bassinet. It is much more versitle and MUCH easier to pack up on any whim.

This is a great invention - I love having our daughter so close to us. She is not sleeping through the night yet and it is so nice to be able to reach over and pick her up to nurse her in the night time. I sleep better being able to keep a close eye on her too.

I have the larger original cosleeper, because we will be moving out of state when my son is 9 months old and I didn't want to have to set up a crib before then, so he should still be able to sleep in this one. Also I wanted the playpen option. However, in hindsight I wish I got the mini that converts to a playpen. My husband is away right now and I've ended up letting my son sleep with me because my bed is too low to use it with the side down. The large one is really heavy, it does fold up once you've practiced a few times, the first time it took me and my husband 45 minutes to fold it down. And we travel a lot, so that was a pain. It also needs to be folded a bit to fit it through doorways if you want to move it around the house.

The best addition I purchased to this is the eddie bauer quilted sheets that are intended for a pack and play. They fit perfectly and add some cushion to the otherwise too firm mattress. You can wash and dry them and they don't shrink either.

I do intend to use this before we move as its intended to wean my son from my bed.

This product did not work for us. First, in order to have the side down, you need to attach a strap under your mattress, which meant that every time one of us moved on the bed it would shake the bassinet and wake the baby up. Also, the mattress in the bassinet is about ½ inch thick and has a wooden backing. I know baby mattresses are supposed to be firm, but this was very uncomfortable for my baby. It also got very cold because there is nothing insulating from the cold air below the mattress. Every time I tried to put my baby into the bassinet he would squirm around and cry. Even if he was sound asleep, I would put him into this bassinet and within 2 minutes he would wake up and cry. I believe a thicker mattress would have helped because my baby doesn’t react this way to the crib. Also, the bassinet is an odd size so it is impossible to find another mattress to fit it or to find sheets to fit the mattress. The sheet that came with the co-sleeper shrunk in the wash. Also, the velcro on the sheet clung to other items in the dryer, which was annoying. Additionally, it is not easy to fold or set up.

We're just now moving our 6-month-old to her crib. This co-sleeper worked wonderfully for us! It made life so much easier for us when she wasn't sleeping through the night. It also was incredibly convenient for me those first few weeks after birth because I had a c-section. If you didn't have a c-section and are nursing, it sure makes that 2 am feeding so much simpler. It was reassuring as a first time Mom to be able to turn over and just watch her sleep. I would highly recommend purchasing this product rather than a regular bassinet.
