I think this is a beautiful crib, but after it was assembled, it seems really cheap. From day one, the bottom drawer has NEVER stayed in the tracks, therefore, it sits on the ground. Also, the front part seems really loose and I'm always scared my son will lean on it too much and make it fall off it's tracks. It's just not worth the asking price of over $400! Because of my experience with this crib, I am now looking for a used crib for when I have my second child.

The crib itself...once it's assembled is fantastic. The problem with this crib is that the instructions are attached (glued) to the piece of plywood that the mattress goes on top of. Because of this, you have to put the crib together and keep the base of the crib near you so you can read it. Not to mention the fact that it's put on sideways so that makes it more complicated to read. Also, at times, the instructions were a little hard to follow.

Once the crib was finally put together *which took my husband and I about 3 hours* it looked nice. It looks really great. It's sturdy and well worth the purchase. However, if I could give some feedback to the manufacturer, I would definitely tell them to put the instructions in a booklet. That would make this way easier to put together.

A little tricky to assemble. There are just 2 drawbacks to this crib. 1) Not easy to attach a mobile to the crib. Most mobiles would be attached at the "head" of the bed. Because it's a solid panel most mobiles can't be attached there. I ended up attaching my mobile on the gate itself. Once I start having to raise & lower the gate I know I'll need to remove the mobile. 2) Because the head & foot of the crib are solid panels attaching a bumper is tricky as well. Bumper pads normally come with a few ties to attach to each of the sides. Due to the lack of railings you have to get a little creative to attach a bumper. Aside from that, the crib is actually very nice looking and quite sturdy. I don't regret the purchase.

Bought this crib and the matching dresser/changing table combo, both in natural. It was relatively easy to set up and looks beautiful - seems like very good quality for the price, though we haven't yet used it (that's another review)! My one complaint is that though the dresser and crib are supposed to be the same finish, the dresser is a far lighter/blonder color and the two almost don't look as if they are from the same manufacturer.

This is a beautiful crib! It took my husband and I only 2 1/2 hours to assemble. Yes, the directions appear overwhelming when you first glance at them, but once you read through them, lay out all your pieces and carefully separate the screws, bolts and washers... its not complicated at all!! If you take your time reviewing each step of assembly before you start assembling, you'll find it easy... just have patience! Trust me! Its a great crib with a great price. Im so glad I picked this one because it looks like it cost over $500... thats how beautiful it is!

My parents purchased this crib w/the matching dresser and it was not easy to put together. The directions are very vague and basically you have to look at the pictures in the directional book and try to figure out what the manufacturer is telling you. It took us 4 hours to put this crib and matching dresser together. The set is beautiful and will last for the most part but unless you have a free day to put it together do not bother!!!!!

My husband and I purchased this crib to go with the other Aspen furniture. It was fairly complicated to put together. The directions were vague but we managed without killing each other. The only thing that I don't like is that the ends are closed in. It makes it difficult to attach and secure the bumper pads- we ended up putting a little strip of velcro on the ends to secure the pads. Also the ends that are closed don't look particulary nice. It looks like wood paneling you would find in an older home. It does look nice with the other pieces and for the most part we are very happy with it. It is a very sturdy piece of furniture and I'm sure our baby will love it.

I purchased this whole set in the cognac color. The 5-drawer chest, 3 drawer dresser combo(with the door) and the matching crib! This is an absolutely beautiful set of very good quality that I continually get compliments on.
As with most things you order, it takes some work to put it together, but with a few screwdrivers, a hammer, and a power drill, it's no problem! In fact I did it all myself, and wouldn't let my husband or father help!

I love this crib it is so beauitful, My 8 month old daughter is so happy with her new crib. I love the fact That it turn into a toddler bed and then in to a full size bed. I'm very happy. I really suggest this crib.
