I have looked everywhere for a sturdy bassinet not made with cardboard. It is very sturdy, and has no cardboard! It was easy to put it together. I would recommend this bassinet to anyone who is looking for something sturdy. I plan on giving it as a gift for my new grand baby due this December.

I have only had this bassinet for a few days but so far I am impressed. I got this from a friend who said she only used it a few times with her child. My two year old (almost three) climbed into it right away and it held her weight. I didn't hear cracking or anything. My two year old (at 37lbs small for her age) was able to lay in it comfortable with only her feet poking out. It doesn't rock on it's own and you can lock it so it doesn't rock much. I love the way it looks I don't think it looks cheap in the least. The matress pad is quite thin but can be replaced.

My daughter just had her baby 2 weeks ago and we used the music feature 3x's and already it does not play. We changed the batteries, hoping this was the problem. It was not and now we have no music. How do we get this repaired????

I purchased this bassinet this year for my baby. So far, so good. I assembled it and it is very sturdy, the matress is thin so I purchased a new one. It is true it doesn't rock on it's own, but you can always substitute. I haven't found any other problems then those. I found if you put it against a wall it keeps the bassinet from moving when the baby moves.

I bought this bassinet because I wanted my first child as close as possible to me at night. I would say that it was a good thing to have until he was 3 wks old. There isnt alot of room for him to move so I would wake up and find him all twisted, which looked very uncomfortable. This would be a great purchase for anyone with a baby who doesnt move alot. The sturdiness of it is awful. My husband had to tighten all the screws almost every week. My son hated the music. So overall, it was a bad decision.

my baby slept in it for 5 months and we also rolled her around the living room. still used in living room to change diapers and play while she's laying down. we hang toys for her to bat at. baby is 7 months now - so we got our $$$$ worth! we're careful to lock wheels and cradle and supervise carefully, since baby is very active now. i did buy a cushier bassinet mattress though, and hated the music. plan 2 keep for her to rock her dollies later.

This was dangerous! After very little use it became unstable because the wood broke off around the screws stabilizing it! Be aware! The only good thing is it looks good. My child grew out of it in 3 weeks!

This bassinet is beautiful in the picture but is cheaper looking in person. The mattress it comes with is more like a diaper changing pad so I bought another mattress for it. And the music is awful!

Still, it's a nice looking bassinet and it made the nursery look great. I bought mine in 2006 for my first child and in 2008 used it very, very briefly for my second child. Both my children hated it- don't know why. I ended up moving them to a crib sooner than I anticipated. I will be selling it but surely won't get half of what I paid.
