Light, sturdy, scratches easy

Reviewer:  Aydan's Mama "Ellen K"  (Chicago, IL)  See all my reviews

In a matter of 3 months, I set up this crib twice, took apart the crib once and lowered the mattress once. Each took some time but was simple. The pieces are light enough for this to be a one person job. The bed looks great but did have some scratches on it when it arrived and has since gotten a couple more. All in all, it's a good, safe bed for my baby.

Easy to assemble

Reviewer:  Baby J's mommy "Khrystle"  (New Jersey)  See all my reviews

The crib was shipped in a timely manner. I was able to assemble the crib all by myself at 7 months pregnant (after carrying the pieces upstairs one at a time-the box is very heavy). I have even moved and had to disassemble and reassemble the crib. A trouble that doesn't reflect on Target is during the move a lost one of the washers? to a screw. Dealing with the manufacter's website was difficult, and to get one piece I had to order a whole screw package [...]. I was able to find the piece at [a hardware store for much less]. The last area of concern is the my son is a bitter and has bitten of the black paint making the crib look worn. Store bought bite covers only fit the round top rails and not the side rails where my son prefers to bite.

Husband put the crib together today. I think it looks beautiful! I asked hubby on his thoughts. thats where the 4 came in. He says the piece that the matress sits on could be a lot more sturdy. No problems putting it togerher tho!

Overall Not a Bad Crib

Reviewer:  Content Mom "Jen B"  (Orcutt, Ca)  See all my reviews

Overall I would say this crib is pretty nice. It looks really beautiful in the nursery. It did come with a few pieces that were badly dented, but it was nothing I couldn't live with. It also scratches REALLY easy. The directions for assembly are horrible. They tell you to put something together, then you have to loosen it to put another piece on. They could have cut out about ten steps if you only had to do things once. Overall I like the crib, I don't love it, but I like it!

Nice Crib - Instructions were wrong

Reviewer:  Mo's Mom "Kristi R"  (Minneapolis, MN)  See all my reviews

The crib was easy to put together, once I had the correct instructions. I thought I was missing some screws based on the instructions, but after calling the manufacturer and waiting two weeks, I received new instructions that would have worked with the parts I had all ready had.

Nice Crib, but....

Reviewer:  Dissapointed Mommy "Claudia"  (California)  See all my reviews

We chose this crib (Storkraft Deborah), because it had good features according to the scripture. For starters, when we received the crib in had scratches and dents. Storkraft was kind enough to ship out the pieces that needed to be replaced. Secondly, the information about this crib is false. The crib is supposed to convert to a daybed, then full bed. They failed to mention that in only converts to a full bed. My child is 14 months now, and I have to go out and purchase a toddler bed, since he's too small for a full bed at this time.

Beautiful bed BUT!!!!!

Reviewer:  Brandi Robichaux  (Houma, Louisiana USA)  See all my reviews

We purchased this crib n 2005. My son is now 1 years old and we started to change the bed to a toddler bed. It was our understanding when we ordered it that it went from crib to toddler bed and then to full bed. I could very well have misunderstood the toddler bed because I think it says daybed, but if you go on Storkcraft website it specifically states that this bed goes only to a full size bed. That was a dissappointment. Also false advertisement.

Very Beautiful

Reviewer:  Satisfied mom "Sage H."  (Atlanta, Ga USA)  See all my reviews

I am very pleased with this crib. Shipping was on time it took about a week and a half. I can't wait to get it set up. Their were not any cosmetic problems with this crib.

dented legs

Reviewer:  Kelly Rogala  (Chicago, IL United States)  See all my reviews

This crib was delivered with big chipped dents on both of the front legs. When I called the manufacturer, they said 23 weeks for replacement parts. When I said that was unacceptable, they said 3 weeks (not sure why they couldn't have said that first.) That is still unacceptable and I don't believe it will get here in 3 weeks. I told the manufacturer I would be better off getting a different crib, they agreed and told me to do so. I am returning it and getting a crib from a different manufacturer.

Beautiful Crib

Reviewer:  Kristina Kissling  (Waukesha, WI)  See all my reviews

This crib really looks wonderful. I bought it in the oak color, though. It is very sturdy and it is neat that it has the drawer underneath for blankets or whatever.

The only negative I can say right now (I haven't had my baby yet) is that typical mobiles that hook onto the sides and have a plastic "screw" to attach from the other side of the arm won't work with this. The sides are just too wide for normal mobiles to affix sturdily to. I haven't figured out how to attach mine to it yet in another way.

Other than that, I'm very happy with it and can't wait to see how the toddler bed versions look through the years.
