I BOUGHT THIS BASSINET FOR MY NEICE, WHO IS EXPECTING HER 1ST BABY IN DEC. HER BABY SHOWER WAS LAST WEEKEND. EVERY WOMEN AT THAT SHOWER THOUGHT IT WAS THE MOST WONDERFUL GIFT SHE RECIEVED. I BOUGHT WHITE BECAUSE ALTHOUGH SHE IS HAVING A GIRL, SHE PLANS ON HAVING MORE CHILDREN. SHE FELT SAFER (NOW THAT SHE HAS A BIG ENOUGH BASSINET, STURDY, LARGE ENOUGH BUT ABLE TO FIT IN TIGHT QUARTERS IN HER BED ROOM) NOW THAT THE BABY WILL BE AT HER BEDSIDE FOR AT LEAST 4-5 MONTHES. THIS IS THE BEST GIFT I EVER GAVE. I HAVE RECIEVED SO MANY CALLS FROM RELATIVES AND FRIENDS WHOSE CHILDREN ARE HAVING BABIES ASKING WHERE I BOUGHT IT! DOES IT COME IN ANY OTHER COLORS, ETC. We bought this for our daughter - what a lovely bassinet! And it comes with storage underneath that is "hidden" by the drapery. I wouldn't suggest storing anything to heavy - we put a box of diapers and it warped. But I would definately buy this again!

I really love our bassinet but was surprised when we tried to get it in our bedroom and it was too wide. Other stores carry the same bassinet in the oval shape for about $50 more. I imagine that the oval shape can be maneuvered through a doorway much easier. We had to partially take it apart so we could slide it in sideways. Other than that issue we have been very happy with the product.

Just go it set up and now waiting for the baby to arrive----easy to put together and perfect for our room. This is much prettier than the picture when you get it all put together!

My husband surprised me with this lovely bassinet as a gift for our first baby and is it ever nice. So roomy and fits so nicely right in our bedroom. Makes it very easy for taking care of our little one during the night. Keep up the good work.

Please beware of this bassinet. My mother purchased this bassinet for my newborn. We thought this bassinet would just be perfect, as it is so danty and elegant. When I received the bassinet,my husband put it together right away! After doing so, we noticed a strong odor in the wood..a smell of strong polyurethane. The scent was unreal, burnt our eyes. Obviously we would not risk putting our baby in the bassinet. We put the bassinet outside on the deck for a few days to air out,and then moved it to the garage for a few more days. Nothing worked. The smell was just as strong as day one. For the price we expected much more from this product than what we received. The store allowed my mother to return this no questions asked. Maybe they should have???? The product is beautiful, however, the odor is extremely strong and does not go away. I would not recommend this product to anyone with a new baby.

I bought this bassinet for my future niece. We set it up for my sisters baby shower and filled it with all the grand things that babies need and more! All the shower guest ooohhed and aaahhed over how beautiful the bassinet it. I can't wait until little Alyssa is able to use the bassinet.

Purchased this bassinet for a very special little boy who came into our lives and could not believe how wonderful this bassinet is. Easy to assemble and so elegant. We will use this as a hand me down heirloom for future generations. Thanks Badger for a great product.

We cant wait until guests come to visit and see this in our living room! It's so beautiful. And then we plan to use it to fill with toys and stuffed animals. I like how the bedding comes off to wash it because my friend's bassinet it does not do that.

If you want a bassinet that can be used,do not purchase this item!I thought this bassinet would just be perfect for my newborn baby granddaughter so I ordered it as soon as I saw it on line as a new product! When my daughter received the bassinet,my son-in-law put it together right away! After doing so there was a strong odor about the wood as if it had been covered with polyurethane. The scent was staggering,so obviously we would not risk putting the baby in the bassinet. We put the bassinet outside on the deck for a few days to air out,and then moved it to the garage for a few more days. Nothing calmed the odor down. It has been over a week now since we received the bassinet and our disappointment began. [For the price] one would expect much more from this product that what we received. It is a tremendous disappointment to say the least. I will now contact Customer Service and hope they will accept the bassinet as a return in the store rather than have me mail it back to their return center. The product is beautiful,however the odor is harmful to any and all babies! I would not recommend this product to anyone with a new baby.
