We have had this item for a week and are very pleased with it so far. Our 1-month-old infant is very comfortable in it. We did a lot of comparison shopping, and liked the simple design of this bassinet and the storage space. It is of fair quality - not heavy-duty or fancy, but not cheaply made either. Yes, there IS a strong paint smell right out of the box. We put it in the garage for a day with a container of baking soda, and the problem was gone. My only complaint is that the casters don't manuever very easily. Otherwise, great product for the price.

I love this, the only feature I wish it had was that it would incline. My baby had a little bit of a refulx issue so we had to take the wheels off one side and prop them up onto these things to make it incline. If that isn't an issue for you (which you obviously won't know before the baby is born) it's great!

We were torn about having or not having a bassinet for our new born. We purchased this bassinet and love it. It was simple to assemble and is easy to move from room to room. Because you can take it off the stand it's nice to take outside with me when I'm playing with my other 2 children, or tucking away in a safe spot when his energetic sisters are indoors.

This bassinet is very solid and beautifully made. Our 2 month old is just beginning to out grow it but atleast with the toy box base option we can still put it to good use. The added feature of Toy Box Base makes this a very affordable item.

We're happy with this bassinet because it has more storage underneath than other ones we looked at. For the short time you use it, we didnt want to spend a lot but we wanted it to be convenient to use. This one has worked out great on all fronts and had a lot less parts and pieces to assemble than others we saw. The tub that the baby sleeps in doesnt go flat for storage, but we have a cousin having a baby in a few months so we're just going to pass it along to her because we dont need to use the toybox conversion (which is a nice feature though).

Very disappointed, the bassinet does not fit securely to base, padding to liner is skimpy.

I recommend this bassinet to a new mothers! I was very happy when I received this bassinet for my baby shower. It is so pretty and fits perfect in the nursery. It can even move from room to room, which is really handy.

I purchased this bassinet for my daughter for their first child. She uses this bassinet in their room and it is so roomy as she had a bigger baby, it can be used for longer than most bassinets. Will recommend this product to other Grandma's to buy for use before the baby goes into the crib.

I was so excited when this bassinet finally arrived, I made my husband open it immediately so we could put it together. Unfortunately, the second we exposed the pieces, our home was filled with the most unpleasant odor! It was the paint or a chemical or glue they used in making it. I even washed all the bedding and we aired the whole thing out for many days. Still no change. After deciding I did not want my baby in such an unhealthy environment for sleeping, we packed it back up for return. Even after a week of being in the box on our back porch before returning, in the middle of winter, we could still smell it! Very unhealthy, I would not recommend this bassinet to anyone! And I see I am not the only one to write a review about this problem. Hopefully the manufacturer will fix.

This bassinet is absolutely precious and it's great that I can convert it to a toy box after the short time that you actually use it as a bassinet.
