finding the parts to convert this bed

Reviewer:  Ash  (Louisiana)  See all my reviews

We really like this bed and got the matching dresser for it. The time has come to change it into a full-size bed for our daughter, but where do you find the parts? I have searched the Target website and the another website just points me back over here. Help?

Love this!!

We purchased this crib on clearance at a steal of a price and have now been using it for 2 years. We love it! Agree with the others issues with the bumper, but it was an easy fix (we tied the extra sides around the outside onto the rails & it has worked perfect). We've also had a mobile on it since day 1 and no problems there, either. It was a great, sturdy crib for the price. Love the look of it as well! Very neutral!

Beautiful crib

I used this crib for two and a half years. I love the way it looks. Very sturdy and well built. Easy to disassemble and reassemble (we moved). I agree with the other review - this crib was really difficult to use during the time that we needed a crib bumper because there was no way to attach one and it was a huge hassle. I finally bought a "breathable bumper" from [a baby store] and that worked pretty well...I was able to rig it on the back. I thought I would use this bed for the toddler and then full size, therefore keeping it longer, but I am actually done using it now that my daughter is out of the crib. I am transitioning her right into a twin size bed. So, ultimately, in that way it didn't last me as long as I originally thought it would.

Good Solid Quality Crib

I've owned this crib since June 2006 and it has held up very well. I feel that the quality of it is very good. I want to convert it now to the full sized bed. I need to get the conversion kit and also get instructions on how to dismantle and assemble now as a full sized bed. I highly recommend it.

Pretty bed

Reviewer:  Lauren's mom  (Hernando, MS)  See all my reviews

Before my daughter was born I loved this bed. As we had to lower the mattress it was harder to tie the bumper pad to the back of the bed (at the top) with the solid back and there is no way to tie a bumper pad at the bottom, I had to tuck the ties into the mattress. Another dislike is that when it converts to a toddler bed the bed is high off the ground. I love the way the bed looks and I love the fact that I can use it as a full size headboard. I wish that I had picked a bed that the bumper pads could have tied better to. The bed is sturdy and has held up well.

Beautiful crib

Reviewer:  Aiden's Mommy "Kristy"  (Indiana)  See all my reviews

I love this crib and think it looks great in my sons nursery. It is very sturdy and quiet to lower and raise the side. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the wood, pine, is very soft. It scratches pretty easy. We have the matching changing table and there are some scratches on it just from the baskets I use to put lotions and other things in. We also cannot tie the bumper pad to the back side because of the solid panel, however, I knew this when I bought it. I would probably buy it again anyway because it looks so great!

Fantastic

This was by far the best investment we made. My son is now 2 - he fights going to sleep for his nap, instead he runs races in his crib for an hour, I was convinced that the crib was going to fall apart one day with the amount of jumping and running that was going on in there....it has held up so nicely. The only downfall is when you lower the mattress there isn't anywhere to tie the bumper to the back. Other than that, I would recommend this crib to anyone.

Love this crib!

Reviewer:  Emily's mom  See all my reviews

I love this crib! We bought this just before our daughter was born (now 18months) and have set it up for our 2nd child due in November. This is such a sturdy crib, that the hand-me-down crib our older child has been moved to seems a little flimsy by comparison (also a Bassett). Granted the bumpers are difficult to use, had to get creative when we lowered the matress, but that was small potatoes. Very heavy and sturdy, had no problems containing my busy toddler, and no problems locking the side in place (for safety though, it just makes sense on any crib to give it a good tug and make sure it's up.). The finish is beautiful.

Very satisfied

We have been very satisfied with this crib after 2 years. Nice design, very strong and sturdy crib.
But I agree with other reviews:

1.It does not convert into a toddler bed
2.Difficult to tight the bumpers pads in the back
3.Sometimes difficult to lock back into place after lowering the front (left side).

Great strudy sleek design

Reviewer:  PortlandMainers "Nvrlookingback @ Az."  (North East)  See all my reviews

I was reading through some of the previous reviews of this bed and found several mis-conceptions that this bed is suppose to convert to a toddler bed? It converts to a day bed then you use the back board as a head board when your children get into their later years. The second is that it has too large of a box. Your right it does but I found if you open the box and load your suv or car it can fit pretty snugly and even with out folding down chairs in most suv's. I own a Mitsubishi Lancer 4 door Sedan with 60/40 fold down seats and only had about 4" hanging out my trunk after emptying the box piece by piece. I find this is a very sturdy and reliable product and is well worth the money not like the Graco cribs just recalled that were only 1/3 the price and look cheap to begin with.
