This crib looks very nice, and the quality is good. However, the mattress that Target recommends you purchase with this crib (Sealy Natural Rest Mattress) does NOT fit snugly. The rule is that you should not be able to fit two fingers between the mattress and the side of the crib. While the mattress fits lentgh-wise, there is a definite "two-finger" gap between the mattress and the crib on the width. I'm now having trouble finding a wider mattress, and I'm not sure whether I'll keep the crib.

We just ordered this crib for our 2 month old baby girl. We just got it put together and love it. It is made of very solid wood and has a beautiful matte white finish. The straight edges this crib has are perfect. We did not want anything to "fancy", but still nice. This crib is it, simple yet classy. It looks so nice in her nursery.
The only reason I gave it four stars was the shipping/packaging. We had to send our first one back because of the extensive damage. This one actually did have a few minor dents on one of the rails, but we just put that side to the wall. I think the company should package the crib better and use some padding around the wider rail tops, since the box will most likely get banged up a little.
The crib itself is definitely 5 stars!

Bought one of these cribs 20 months ago for our first baby, and I'm here now buying a second for our second. For the price we got unexpectedly high quality, a modernly simple, pricier looking crib. It is all hardwood, and was easy to assemble. A standard size crib mattress fits in it precisely. It is rock solid; our 20-month-old adores playing in there, jumping and dancing and pretend-falling-down, this crib doesn't move (no wheels on).
NOTE: The top rails on this crib are wider than standard, so some crib accessories may not fit.

We bought this crib for our son 10 months ago and have been extremely pleased with our purchase. This is a Childcraft crib, although the Target website doesn't say it. We bought the crib from another site because at that time Target did not offer it. I can say that Target offers the best price for this crib because I looked all over the internet for it and never saw anything under $200. About the crib: I liked that there are no drop-sides - my husband and I are both tall (over 5'11") so we probably wouldn't use that feature anyway - and I think it safer since there is no hardware or anything else to risk the pinching of little fingers. This crib is sturdy - it's solid wood and has no plastic parts of any kind. I feel safe putting my baby in his crib every night. We will definitely use this crib for all our future children - there is no question of whether or not it will hold up. It will. And, it's super easy to put together. Overall, this crib is an excellent purchase for any expecting parent!
