We have a two-story house and were looking for a black bassinet to go on the main level that I could put our baby in for naps and still have her close. Well, We bought it and it goes wonderful with our house except the bottom is quite flimsy so I just put some toys in a chest down there. It goes all over our home and my 3 year old sone can push it around without waking my baby girl, with me watching of course! It is great except the bottom!

I saw this and couldnt have been more excited. i love the black nursery furniture but since the bassinet went in our master bedroom we had searched around forever to find one that didnt stick out like a sore thumb. my daughter is now grown out of it and the cat is enjoying it! the bottom shelf is a little flimsy so i wouldnt recommend putting anything too heavy on it...it'll just break!

I saw this advertised in this magazine I got at the grocery store called Find It! Sourcebook for Parents. It's so beautiful in person and a nice bed to have someplace other than the nursery, like if you have a two story house and want a substantial sleepign space for your baby downstairs. As for what the previous reviewer said, the assembly instructions and the manufacturer's web site that i checked before buying both are very clear about the width of the item and the doorways issue, so it's not like that information is being hidden. Also, the safety warnings for any bassinet are very clear that you are never to move a bassinet with the baby inside of it so never do that! I did my homework before buying and this bassinet does pass current safety standards. Target Guest Relations says that they require this of any product they sell.

I am a firm believer to do research before buying. (I've gotten burned on [another site] before!) I checked out this bassinet on a couple different websites, along with the manufacturers website, and felt very assured that this was going to be a good purchase, plus Target has great prices! I was very pleased with this beautiful bassinet.
The finish of the bassinet itself was great. The bedding is soft and I have received so many compliments on how pretty it is. Black Toile is a non-traditional choice, but it has knocked my friends socks off!
I highly recommend this bassinet for its unique look, its sturdy construction and overall quality and price. I am so pleased with my puchase.

This should be a recalled item! First I want to say that it is beautiful and I have had many compliments on it. However, I gave it only 2 stars because of two reasons. The first is that it is 34 inches wide and therefore will not fit through most doorways. Second, as I was pushing it the whole bottom broke off of it and I was not pushing it hard. It just had a very flemsy wood base and cannot be trusted to stay stable with your baby in it. Luckily I was only pushing it to put it away and my baby was not in it. I think this product could have really harmed my baby. I have only had it for 3 months and it was brand new when I started so there is no excuse that it should break like this. It should be recalled! This is a hazzard for your baby!
