GRANTED I DO NOT OWN THIS ONE, IN LOOKING AT IT I AM SKEPTICAL ABOUT THE SAFETY OF IT ROCKING, I KNOW MY NOW FOUR YEAR OLD SON WAS _VERY_ ROUGH ON HIS CRIB- TO THE POINT THAT IT HAS BEEN TRASHED FOR SAFETY CONCERNS,NO PASS DOWNS WITH THAT ONE--- IM NOT TOO SURE HOW I WOULD FEEL ABOUT THIS ONE, IM XPECTING ANOTHER LIL GUY AND I DONT THINK THAT THIS ONE WOULD BE MY BEST BET, ANOTHER THING , WHY IS IT CONCERNED TO BE COMPACT?? IT STATES IN THE INFO ITS STANDARD--HOPEFULLY SOMEONE WHO HAS ACTUALLY BOUGHT, OR OWNS THIS CAN GIVE MORE INSIGHT AS TO THE PROS,CONS & MOST IMPORTANT THE OVERALL SAFETY OF THIS, BECAUSE I MUST ADMIT IF THE CRADLE FEATURE IS ACTUALLY SAFE & STURDY IT WOULD BE A NICE PLUS WHEN TRYING TO GET BABY BACK TO SLEEP... HOPE TO SEE A REVIEW FROM AN OWNER SOON AS I ONLY HAVE THREE MORE MONTHS TO GO...CONGRATS TO ALL THE NEW & EXPECTING MOMS...

I am a mom of 1 year old twins, and pregnant with our 3rd baby. We live in a 2 bedroom apartment for the time being and knew we needed a crib that was smaller, versitile and cost effective. I found this compact crib but was unable to find ANY reviews ANYWHERE online. I actually bought it from another company (don't tell Target!) cause the shipping was MUCH cheaper thru them. I was a little nervous about the purchase but upon recieving it was very pleased with the overall quality. It was easy to assemble (I did it by myself in just under an hour). However, the holes that were predrilled in the wood for the bolts were TOO big, so I had use anchor screws. It didn't come with any anchors, so be prepared that you may need to have some handy. You can't tell from the picture but the crib has 3 mattress heights so you can adjust it like a regular crib. And it comes with a 2 inch mattress (at least mine did!). I'm still not sure if portable crib sheets will fit it. If not I'll be sure to report my findings.
