I purchased this item for my daughter Christmas of 2007,
It is now one year later and it no longer works.... I just finished reading all the reviews and they are all true.. This product is a waste of money... If you are looking for a DVD player don't buy Audiovox.... Pay the extra money and get a good one. I purchased a 10" Magnavox, it cost alot more but it's worth it.... My daughter is so happy now...

Would give no stars if I could. This stopped working after a couple months. Audiovox suggested I replace the adapter at my cost - which I did. After a couple more months, the sound went. Terrible product.

My 3 year old son recieved this DVD Player for Christmas 2007. His grandmother bought the DVD player for him to watch "his" movies anytime he wanted. After a few months of using the DVD player daily the adapter went out; we live in a rural town so we purchased annadapter from the local electronics store and paid [price]. The dvd player worked for awhile but then we started havng problems again. My son would be watching a movie and the screen would just go blank or wouldn't even come on. Then about 2 days ago the dvd player stopped all together. Try explaining to a 3 yr old why his movie just stopped and his dvd player is broken. My son will be getting a new portabler dvd player for Christmas 2008 and it will not be one made by Audiovox!

Personally, if i could give this product no stars I would. I purchased this item in January for a good deal and about 3 months later it altogether stopped working. When I called their customer service the told me I should hook it up to another adapter. I did and it still did not work. when I called agin and did it over the phone they told me that if didn't work it was my problem. Hence me recommending people nt to buythe product because you get the short end of the stick

If you can, try not to buy this product. I bought this product and it worked fine for a couple of months and than all of a sudden it just stopped working. Charger want even turn on. This is the worst product I have came across because it has not been dropped or anything hasn't been wasted on it and it's broken. Please do not buy this product. Target should be ashamed of this dvd player.

I purchased this portable DVD player in February (for a great deal [...]) and it lasted about a month before just not playing anymore. I was able to return it and got another one which lasted 5 months this second go around before giving up yesterday. I really had hoped this product would last as long as an Insignia 7 inch model had lasted (about 2.5years, purchased from [an electronics store]), but sadly I cannot recommend this product with a clear conscience to others.

We orginally purchased this dvd player for our daughter for Christmas 2007. By January, the unit just died. We returned the item and purchased another one and purchased the warranty. By April, this one died as well. Being that we were under the 90 day limit, we again returned the unit to the store for a replacement. [...] Once again the unit just died. Unfortunately, this time we are past the 90 days to return it to the store. We are attempting to go through the warranty service but we were told that if they couldn't fix it, then they would return our money. Between the price increases and the effort that has been put into this player, it is DEFINITELY not worth the money!!!!! I will never buy this brand again!

I purchased this DVD player for a trip on an airplane. I did not realize it only had a 2 hour battery. The plane ride was longer than 2 hours and so was the movie. It wasn't a bad player, just watch because it does not have long battery life.

This Audiovox model is junk. There are no good reviews on it anywhere..it will not work for long if at all. Target knows it's junk...and will not honor its return. I got mine for FATHER'S DAY, the grandkids got it for me, they were so proud to give it to me. Had it charged up, new movie in place, and NO VIDEO...only sound. Took it back to same TARGET store, what a run around. They will not offer replacement or repair. ( WAS TOLD THE KIDS SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY ) Contacted Audiovox, handled by Venturer Electronics, Canada...the unit is made in CHINA,it will cost almost as much to repair as a NEW UNIT. "So go buy anything else and buy it anywhere except TARGET." Don't buy anyone a gift at Target...they will never be able to take it back for any reason, EVER..and they will spoil your happy moment for years to come, with the lamest of policy...even when it's a 57 year old Grandpa with a DVD Player that never worked a single day. You will be Junked and Skunked at TARGET !!

I have returned this item 2 times. I will NEVER EVER buy any Audiovox product. My DVD player just stopped working both times.
