Bad Quality!

Reviewer:  Mimi Fishers "Mimi"  (Indianapolis, IN)  See all my reviews

I've only had this TV about 18 months. The screen went black last week in the middle of a program, and now all I get is audio!! Even at this low price, this TV should have lasted for many years. Trutech is awful!!

Not worth the cost

Reviewer:  KLTC  (Madison, WI)  See all my reviews

One week after the 90-day warranty passed, the TV completely stopped functioning. The cost of repair (labor, shipping) through warranty will probably equal the original TV price. I do not recommend this product.

I bought this for my dorm at college, and it's pretty good. It's nothing fancy, but it's good for the price.

Can it be this hard?

Reviewer:  Eric J. Paquin  See all my reviews

Real Name

I bought the tv on vacation, got it home pluged it in and started to scan for channels, it picked up nothing. I then switched to video and began watching a dvd the screen was was discolored the speakers were not shielded as they made the bottom 2 corners even more discolored. Seeing a phone number on the box to call for problems I called them they had me turn off the tv and back on again, now I have to rescan channels as the tv wont hold a scan. That done they had me try to adjust the color via the settings and that only made things worse. [...]. I wish I could give this tv negative stars. [...].

Excellent ATSC (Digital TV) Reception

Reviewer:  alt.video.digital-tv Guy  See all my reviews

This Digital TV has much more stable ATSC reception than my 2+ year old USDTV unit. I use a UHF loop antenna and receive all of the Digital TV signals in my area (KMBC-DT 7 through KPXE DT-51).
