I bought this item thinking I could use it to help postion our little man (2 months) so he would sleep on both sides of his head (he favors one side). It doesn't really work great for that. He ended up slipping down in between the two wedges which really scared me. If you are looking for something to elevate your baby I would recommend just buying a wedge because though the positioner doesn't work great, the wedge did. It helped my little man sleep 7 1/2 hours straight last night. He has never slept that long. It was amazing!

I thought this might help my baby, now 4 months old, with minor reflux and requested it as a gift. It was too wide for the bassinet, so we waited until he moved to the crib to use the wedge and positioners. I was HORRIFIED when I went to feed him in the middle of the night. He had slipped down and his face was very close to the side positioner. Thank goodness he was still able to breathe and was alright. I immediately took it out of the crib and will return it. This should not be sold! Do not buy this product. It is extremely unsafe.

We needed a positioner for our small newborn who liked sleeping on her side. She kicks alot and her movement propelled her down the steep incline of the back support. When we woke up to feed her, she was UNDER her covering blanket. This is a serious SIDS risk. Might as well just have bought something with support just from the side.

My son would look so comfortable and I was paranoid he would roll over and get stuck on his tummy so I slept better, but in So. Ca., it's too hot! The "breathable" fabric wasn't and we sleep with the air on. HE woke up sweat and crying too many times... sent off to GoodWill.

The product is fine until you go to clean it - the label on each sleep wedge says to wash with warm water...squeeze out excess water and dry on low heat setting. That's what I did. THE COVERS SHRUNK on both wedges, making them unusable. We bought two of these for our twins and now we're out the money! Conveniently, the instructions here on this site say "hand wash." Clearly the company knew better???

I ordered this positioner b/c my baby has GERD. The angle isn't as high as it appears. If your looking for something to help with GERD keep looking, but if you just need a basic positioner this will work great.
