worst potty seat EVER!

OMG I am glad to see that I am not the only one who had the problems with this chair. It gets pee all over when my son pee's and he even knows how to "push it down" I bought a WAY cheaper seat and LOVE IT!

I agree with everything that the Don't Buy review says. Urine ends up all over the toilet seat and dripping down the tank and all over the floor. I'm am trashing this one tonight!

Don't Buy!!

Reviewer:  Crunchymom  See all my reviews

I am having to buy a different seat and can not wait to throw this one in the trash. Even if I help my son pee straight down it still gets on the underside and trapped in the seat, just waiting for when you pick up the seat to pour all over the floor, you, and the toilet itself. I agree with another reviewer that if I wanted to clean pee up I would of bought a potty chair. This seat is a horrible mess..literally.

This is our 2nd seat for my 2 1/2 yr young daughter & she really LOVES it! She likes that she can grab onto the handles, plus+ it is 'very' cushy & is fine once they sit on it ( not wobbley)

Happy

Messy

Reviewer:  Mom-to-be  (Houston)  See all my reviews

Fine except that the pee gets caught in the crevices (like the other reviewer said) and it's a mess. Is there a potty that doesn't have this issue???

not functional

Reviewer:  Mommy Love "Nzinga X"  See all my reviews

Not a stable seat. The seat will not stay still and the urine goes mostly everywhere but in the toilet. It is very scary to a toddler to slip and slide on the big potty. May create future trauma.

urine gets caught in the crevices and stinks!!

Reviewer:  S. Foshey "detsharon"  (Florida)  See all my reviews

I bought this potty seat for my daughter, as I have boy/girl twins and had a different potty seat, with a detachable cup for my son. Well, I found my daughter's urine got caught under the potty seat in the supports of the seat, so when you lift the seat up, urine leaks out from under the supports, and on to anything else. It doesn't matter if you clean the potty seat with bleach wipes, like I did continually, the urine leaks out everywhere. On top of that, due to the urine getting under the seat, the potty seat then stinks like stale urine. It is totally gross. I would recommend a First Years potty seat, with a detachable cup, as both my twins used it with no problem. My daughter did not mind the detachable cup, as it is easier just to keep it on if you have boys and girls using it.

The manufacturer of this product, Munchkin, has been great with replying to my email to them concerning the matter. They even let me pick some other Munchkin products for free due to the problem with their potty seat. Their representative did act as if she had never heard of this problem before, so if you have purchased this product and are having this problem, I would suggest contacting the company to let them know more people are unhappy with this product.

I agree - It is a Mess!!

Reviewer:  Becky Lynn  See all my reviews

I loved the fact that this seat had handles since my son wants to hold onto something so he feels secure. But after using it a few times I realized his pee was somehow soaking into the seat and every time you tip it on end, all the urine runs out. It is disgusting. And I would have returned it if I could. I just want to make sure no one else ends up with this mess.

Taking this seat back

Reviewer:  Andrea Block "new to training"  (Indianapolis IN)  See all my reviews

I bought this seat for my 18 month old who shows interest in the potty. The seat slid all around and was not stable. She didn't want to sit on the seat because of the sliding but will sit on the potty without it when we hold her. I'm taking it back and buying a seat that is adjustable for the potty.

What a MESS!!!!!!

Reviewer:  Amy in IL, mom of 2 "Amy"  (IL)  See all my reviews

When I first bought this seat I thought it was great. It has a nice cushion and handles but then my son starting using it. Every single time he went pee his urine would get trapped on every crevice of the seat and when he stood up I had to wipe his butt and legs because urine was dripping down. I rinsed this seat EVERY single time after use and it still ended up smelling like a urinal. It is absolutley a horrible design. I bought the Baby Bjorn toilet trainer instead and it is wonderful. Urine does not stick to the seat or my child. The Bjorn is more expensive but worth every penny I swear.
