This camera I purchased died within 40 days of owning it. The second one I received after returning the first now is now shutting off after 30 seconds of being on even though it is set for 5 minute stand by. I have put new batteries in it. I have even used a ac dapter and it still shuts off. I am taking back this one and will be glad to be rid of it. Picture quality is nothing special either.

I am not impressed with the quality of most of my pictures. Some come out very well, but others are really quite horrible. I think if I had a telelens it might help, but so far, I cannot find one for this camera.

We recently bought this camera to use on a vacation. We were completely horrified at the quality of pictures it took. We currently have a Fuji Fine Pix 2650 2.0 megapixle with a 3x optical zoom and this camera takes better pictures! Consequently we are not keeping this camera.

My Grandma has this camera and I use it all the time. It has excellent zoom, flash, and takes excellent quality photos. It does take a little while to get used to the delay time, but its worth the money. Get this camera if you can. I showed my pics to a friend who takes a lot of photos and he was shocked how good they looked.
