Larger scale than I had imagined from the picture.

I am a grandmother who is starting over again after the storm. I chose these dishes because they look like pure fun. They are perfect as deep soup bowls, or for cereal with banana slices, individual fruit or popcorn bowls and as described, ice creams, especially if one wanted to make a real sundae type treat and needed room for whipped cream, nuts, cherry, and a spoon. Inside has a little groove that I thought might be a problem, where food could get stuck, but has not proven to be an issue with dish washer.
