Buyer beware. The Sony reader will not work on a new 64 bit computer only on 32 bit.There is no mention of this on the outside of the box.So you will have to wait about a week for Sony to send you a downloadable program :( I did want to start using it right out of the box. I've read so many good reviews that I chose the Sony over the Kindle, not just because of price but of Sony's style the Kindle has a problem keeping the device in its cover.I will write another review when I'm able to use my Sony EReader.

My husband bought me this for Chistmas. We tried it out when we got home, just in case..... I love it!!! This is a MUST HAVE for anyone who likes to read. When we go on vacation I pack a bag of books. Usually about 7 or 8. (Probably would pack more if my husband didn't complain about it.) Anyway, I never know which book I'll want to read when we get there so I like to be prepared. I like this reader because I can load lots of books and it fits in my purse. My husband likes it because he usually has to carry the luggage. ;) Oh, btw purchased this at Target because another store didn't have them in the entire store. You have to purchase it online. Way to go Target for having them in the store.
