Let me preface this by saying that I NEVER thought we would spend this much money on a stroller, let alone an umbrella stroller....but we did and it has been worth EVERY penny! We ended up spending the money because we were looking for a stroller that would include 1) long handles 2) ultra portability 3) a large sunshade and 4) storage basket. This stroller has them all! We are both 6 foot and comfortably can push this stroller all day. It is so rediculously lightweight and the carry strap is AWESOME! The sunshade beats any other umbrella stroller and even many regular strollers. It is even bigger on the Volo than some of the other Maclaren models! And the storage basket underneath is incredibly roomy. I cannot say enough good things about this stroller...oh...one more thing...the wheels concerned me because of their small size...turns out to be a great thing because it even pushes through sand at the beach! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

I bought this stroller to be used as a travel stroller after a couple of trips with my baby and my perego p3 proved frustrating. It turns out that I loved it so much that this is the only stroller I use much anymore. The wheels and folding are flawless on the Maclaren strollers. The compact size and light weight make it so there is no inconvenience getting the baby set up when I am running multiple errands. In hindsight, I wish that I had only bought a Maclaren stroller. You cannot use them for babies, but I used a snap frame for my carseat carrier for the first 7 months anyway.
I give this 4 stars because it doesn't recline, and I don't think that the sunshade is good enough. I didn't think these would matter since it was supposed to be only for travel, but my son doesn't sleep well in it and I now regret not going with one of the upgraded models.

This is an excellent lightweight stroller for those with tons of other stuff to carry. Folds and unfolds like a dream, decent basket size, and extremely maneuverable.
Only trouble is, it should come with a recommended min. height for the child because if he/she's too short, their little legs can't reach the foot-rest, and they'll end up a little uncomfortable cos the thin fabric seat'll cut into the back of their knees while their feet dangle.
I'll be keeping it in storage til my lil one (she's 11mths now) grows a couple of inches more, but I can't wait to use it!

We've used this as our travel stroller for almost 2 years now. It's lightweight and fairly quick to collapse at airport security, on buses, etc. We don't use the detachable hood much--it can be a little difficult to get it lined up and attached to the stroller--definitely need both hands. Certainly not a cushy ride, best on fairly smooth surfaces. I'm tall (6'2") and the handles could stand to be just a smidge longer for me, but this was better than any other umbrella stroller we saw.

My husband and I agree that this is the BEST stroller ever! I have had it for about 13 months now, it gets used often because its so east to use. We spent almost 3x as much on a Peg Perego that is collecting dust in the garage. This stroller manuvers wonderfully, so its great at the mall. It still looks great after a few hose downs in the driveway, dries superfast, looks brand new. Don't waste your money on anything else, this the THE stroller!

I've had this stroller for about 6 months, and also have strollers from other brands. This one is my favorite because it is SO lightweight, collapses so easily, pushes very easily with one hand, my son seems comfy in it, it feels very sturdy, and I never have to hunch over to push it like with most other strollers. The drawbacks of this stroller are that the color is light, so we don't even use the hood because it will get too dirty in the car, and that it doesn't recline. Since it doesn't recline, it really can't be the only stroller you own unless your kids are older or just don't nap.
My Volo has currently been taken by Grandma, who watches my son very often, because it is so easy for her to collapse and get in and out of the trunk. Grandma can pick up the baby, but the heavy strollers were getting to her arthritis. The Volo is absolutely irreplaceable for her.

this stroller is great for urban areas where you have to walk a lot and need something lightweight to carry on the bus or subway. after lot's of research on lightweight strollers i ended up buying this one because is the lightest and when folded takes min. storage space (big plus for apartment dwellers)
The stroller is very durable, it withstands 2.5 years of use and abuse.
Warrning: the main design fault is the construction of the frame at the back it's slightly tilted and wears the back wheels super fast. prepare to buy new replacement wheels every 6 months. this will add on the cost of the purchase price.

I got this stroller for my 2nd son as a gift and I LOVE it. He's going to be born any day but I tried it out on my 4 1/2 yr old and he fits in it perfectly. My other lightweight stroller was too small for him and he has plenty of room in this one. I cannot wait to also use it for my new baby boy. It's goes around corners so easily and is so light. It's the most affordable of the Maclaren strollers and works so great. I recommend to anyone.

I bought this stroller after after struggling with another light wieght stroller that I hated. After extensive research and trying strollers out, I decided this was the one. I couldnt be happier. It is comfortable, light-wieght, compact and easy to use. It stores like an umbrella stroller, but is much nicer. My only complaint, is that for the price, it could use some cup holders or a tray for baby.

I wanted a nice umbrella stroller and was willing to pay for one. When trying to decide, I found this stroller for 75% off at my Target store. For that price, deciding was easy! It rolls nice and seems sturdy. My child has never fallen asleep in her big stroller so I'm not too worried about that with this one. It's so light and easy to pull in and out of the car. I wish I had never spent the money on my huge full size stroller. I doubt we use it much after this.
