Cons:
I got this hoping for an all-purpose stroller with a near full recline. My baby will only sleep if almost flat. This one only has one reclining position (it's a plastic buckle clip behind the seat that you unclip to recline the seat), and it's not flat enough, it's barely 3" lower than the original seat position shown in the photo, so I was disappointed in that.
I wasnt crazy about the nylon fabric either, too hot for baby, I prefer the cotton/poly blends.
It doesn't fold up very small (might not fit a civic trunk)
Pros:
The wheels are nice and big, the under basket is big. Good price for the features.
The basket is right under the baby's footrest, so if they kick off shoes they might just land in the basket. It comes in a pretty color, has 2 brakes.
In the end, I returned this one and bought a Graco Metrolight since it had a nice almost fully reclining seat, adjustable pushbar for a tall husband, and folded up much flatter.

I wanted to get rid of my heavy Graco travel stroller because I take my son walking in the stroller every day for a hour. I was looking for lightweight strollers that weren't the umbrella type since my son was only 3 months old. This one "seemed" to have everything I wanted....easy one hand fold, large basket underneath, cup holders etc. I tried out the floor model in the store, and it seemed to be just fine. The problems began when I started putting the stroller together at home. The back wheels were SO hard to put on, and my husband was deployed and couldn't help me with it - I struggled with them for about 1/2 hour. When I put on the front wheels, I kept looking at the stroller and thinking it looked like it was higher up on one side. The front right wheels looked like they didn't quite reach the floor. I tried messing with the wheels, and decided that it would be ok when my son was sitting in the stroller. WRONG! This stroller seems to be getting harder and harder to steer. I've owned it about a month or month in a half. Now I've just been diagnosed with tendonitis in both my wrists...I totally think it's from the amount of force I have to use to keep the stroller from veering to the left which it does if I try steering with one hand.
The parent cup holders are a joke. My water bottle doesn't fit in any of the 3 holders. A soda can fits in the middle spot, but nothing but maybe a Red Bull can would fit in the outer two holders. I had to buy a stroller bag attachment that had cup holder pockets so I had someplace to put the water bottle.
The child cup holder attachment is ok. Not great. It's kind of nice that it comes off, but it's cheaply made in the fact that it doesn't have a hinge type opening like my Graco did. We just leave it off all the time since our son is only 4.5 months old.
I do like a few things....these were the reasons I initially bought the stroller. 1) Graco carseat fits on it 2) Nice colored stroller 3) Large storage basket with spring opening 4) somewhat reclining seat (although cheaply made) 5) easy one-hand closing and how it stays standing up when folded 6) more compact and lighter than the travel system stroller
Overall not a good buy. I would not recommend this stroller to anyone. I'm kicking myself now for getting rid of my nicely steering Graco.

I've owed this stoller for about 2 years now. The condition its in is great.. just like when I purchased it! There are many features to this stoller. The basket is nicely sized to fit lots of stuff, baby seems quite comfortable in it, folds up nicely and does NOT take up a lot of space (I drive a ford focus and many other stollers don't fit!) and the price is great. Do not hesitate to buy this product, it's worth it 100 percent!!!!!!!!!

I found this stroller a great value. I am currently using it on my third child and still have no problems with it. I was very easy to put together (I did it in about 10 minutes). It is sturdy enough to have held my oldest until he was three. It manuvers easily and has a good full size seat. It folds easily and stands up when folded. My only complaint is that it is annoying to bring up from a recline.
For [the price], I would recommend this stroller to anyone!

I was looking for a lightweight stroller that could be used while shopping, going to dr. appointments, etc. I liked the way the floor model turned tight corners, and the basket seemed adequate. We purchased one and my husband assembled it. The right front wheel wouldn't even touch the floor! My husband, who's an engineer, worked with it for over an hour and discovered that the construction was faulty and there was a lot of "play" in the frame, especially when turning corners. He believes that even if it had worked right, because of the flimsy frame, it would have been nonfunctional within a couple of months. I also didn't like the way the seat "adjusts" with a belt behind it. And on top of all this, we put the baby in it, and he didn't like it! Don't waste your money on this one!

I, too, thought this would be a great lightweight alternative to my larger Graco stroller. The first problem with this stroller is that when it is all the way "sitting up," the seat is still quite reclined and my toddler has to pull himself up and hold on if he wants to maintain an upright position. The second issue that I have had is that it is very difficult to steer. That may be a problem isolated to my stroller if the wheels are stuck or something, but I have tried oiling and loosening any connections that may influence its ability to steer. All in all, I was very disappointed in this stroller - part of me wanted to go get another Graco!

Even though I just bought this stroller and have only used it twice, I felt compelled to write a review. This is our 5th stroller, we've been through 2 McClarens (which are over-rated and over priced), a Graco double stroller (so heavy I hated having to use it, as soon as my son was able to walk a long stretch at a time, I stopped using it and put my daughter in a single) and an umbrella stroller (which turned out to be my favorite, at $12.00!) We needed something that was light weight but had all the features of a full size stroller and we didn't want to pay a lot for it. I did a lot of online research and almost ordered a Combi at $139 when I came across the Safety 1st Altura at a Target store by chance. I liked the way it looked and read the features and even though there was no floor model, I bought it since it was not expensive and had everything I was looking for. I read all the reviews on this site and noticed that the people that complained about the stroller had a couple of common themes: the wheels and the cup holder/trays.
First of all, in order to properly put together the back wheels, you MUST use a needle nose plier, which the directions don't tell you. The directions are not good (which is why I'm giving this product a 4 stars) and it took my husband 3 tries to put the wheels on just to make sure he put them on securely and properly so the wheels won't fall off. If you think you can just snap it in place, they won't work. This is probably why the wheels were not working well and falling off when being used.
As for the trays, if you snap them in the proper place correctly, there is NO WAY they just fall off. The parent tray must be placed just below where the foam part of the handle bar starts. If you try to put it on top of the padded part of the handle bar, the tray will not stay in place, it is not secure. I don't think this is that hard to figure out because you will easily see that it is not snapped in completely.
I found the folding to be so easy, truly one hand operation. To open you just raise the handle bar and it snaps in place right away. The basket is HUGE for a light weight stroller. I don't know what people are trying to stuff in there when you are supposed to use this COMPACT stroller for day to day errands and transport of the baby/toddler. It has more than enough room to put your diaper bag, toys and even one or two shopping bags in there. It is really easy to steer and maneuver, I'm 5'2" so it's perfect and even for my husband who's 5'8", he found it to be comfortable. It takes very little to push if you use both hands, which you're supposed to when pushing a stroller. Much easier than the McClaren single we had. I love the fact that I can just fold it and it stands up by itself and I can just put it in the corner rather than trying to figure out how to store it without it falling over. The only thing that can be improved is for them to add a handle or carrying strap so when folded, you can pick it up easily if you had to take it on a bus or up and down the stairs (like in the subway in NYC!)
I think this is a great buy for the money and hope it will last for at least a year when we no longer need to use a stroller!

I bought this stroller wanting an affordable light wieght stroller, but it's barely lighter than a regular model. And it deffinitly isn't smaller, it barely fits in my trunk. The material construction is so cheap, mine is only 6 months old and is starting to wear in some spots. It is very hard to adjust the belt straps, and the cup holders are a joke!! It rides and stears nice, but when my daughter is in the ONLY recline position, and I have her diaper bag in the basket, it tips backwards, badly! I thougt it was going to fall all the way back several times. For the price I paid, I thougt it would be nicer and better constructed. Already bought a replacement stroller, shouldn't have had to.

I bought this stroller as a replacement for a too cumbersome "travel system". I've used it now for almost 2 years (my son is 27 months and 35lbs.).
Things we love:
*Easy to fold (you do need two hands)
*Even easier to open
*Light weight
*Can easily fit into my Hyundai trunk with groceries
*My son still fits comfortably in it
*The sun shade is great
*The storage under the seat fits alot
*Has a parent "basket" that holds drinks/cell/keys
Things we don't love:
*The kids tray didn't fit anything and stuck out when folded
(we just kept it off)
*You can NOT take it "off-road" (park, beach, country walks, even a small pebble on the side walk will stop you short)
*The handle is not adjustable and far too short for us (I'm 5'6" and my husband is 5'11")
*The bar in the back gets in your way as you are walking and I stub my toe frequently on it
*You need to maneuver it with two hands
I would recommend this stroller for people that are under 5'4" and would only need it for city sidewalks.
