We had this carrier for our daughter (who is now 2) and used it regularly in the beginning. It calmed her to be near us so it did the job. It was difficult to get her in/out at first-practice makes perfect. Dad rarely wore it but it's adjustable so he certainly could. We used it comfortably for the first 6-9 months, after that she was a too large and mobile to enjoy it. We're buying a sling to try with baby number 2, simply because we want to try something else but I still have the carrier to use as well.

I used this product limited for walks or a special trip and it was o.k. for that. I did not have buckle problems, just loading and unloading baby very carefully. Sleep deprived parents can injure baby easily if not paying attention. I did not feel the plastic buckles were secure and tended to hold onto the carrier. I would not recommend it for extended use as it does strain the back and shoulders.

Very comfy. My baby feels very secure, I wasn't worried about her slipping out. Adjustable straps so both Dad and I could wear it. Great buy

This baby carrier was one of the first ones I bought when I didn't know anything about baby wearing.
I haven't regretted it only because I use it as an example at my baby wearing classes.
This carrier, like the hundreds out there in stores all over, hangs the baby by the crotch with their legs pointed straight down. This is not good for the development of the back and hips.
Not only that, but the buckles and straps are not very intuitive, IMHO.
The straps and buckles for you are separate than for the baby, and putting the thing on and loading baby into it is a pain.
It's not very versatile. Any other type of baby carrier should be able to let you carry your baby in at least two completely different positions, not just flipping them forward or back.
Look up "ring sling" or "baby wrap." Target sells Hotslings which are "pouch slings." I've written a review of Hotslings. Go read it.
This carrier is comparable to every other front pack out there. They're OK for very short walks.

I received this as a gift and started using it forward facing when my daughter was 3 months old. She loves it. The front piece is right where she can get her mouth on it to suck (which gets rather gross, but it's washable, so who cares?). Once I adjusted the back straps, it was quite comfortable. I am a larger woman and was concerned about fit, but it's great. Also, my skinny husband can wear it just fine too. I wouldn't use it for extended periods, but for a quick jaunt in the store or around the house I think it's great.

I'm 5'2" this carrier fits me poorly - it is uncomfortable for me to carry both my son (22 lbs) or daughter (16 lbs). It is nearly impossible to carry them for more then an hour without my back and shoulders getting tired. Plus, nither one of them like the way they sit in it, the straps and buckles seem like they are rubbing against them. After listening to a screaming baby we spent the money and bought a Baby Bjourn and a Moby wrap.

I stowed away my doubts and just placed a rolled up recieving blanket under my 8lb infant's legs to protect him from the buckles digging into his little body. I even ignored the shoulder strain (properly positioning the straps), and held the front down when my baby grew to 16lbs. Frankly, I'm afraid to use it now that he's over 20 lbs. His grandparents agree that it is a flop of a purchase.

Every mom in our stroller strides group raves about the Bjorn - if you want to save some money and are not all about brand image, this carrier does the job just fine! I read some of the other reviews and find this not bulky at all. I tried on the Jeep carrier and it felt bulky, the Snugli seemed cheap to me and this one just right. My baby loves looking out at the world in this - the only issue I have is that the front panel sometimes was popping up so I ironed it so it had more of a crease to stay down. This is also by far the most stylish carrier out there - we gets lots of comments on it.

As many of the previous reviewers have mentioned, the buckles/hardware on this Infantino baby carrier are unsafe.
The first time my grandaughter was placed in the carrier, she nearly fell out because the buckle under her derriere did not stay locked. It may seem to be a better deal and look safe, but if you have ever put a month-old baby in it and see them slipping out of your grasp, you know that saving a few dollars is not the ideal way to choose a baby carrier.
This was gifted to my daughter at a shower held 4 months before she delivered. Target will not take it back because they have a 90-day return policy.
Think twice before giving this to a friend or purchasing it for yourself, unless you have your child with you and you can test the carrier you plan to purchase. Quality control seems to be very poor...I wonder if being made in China has anything to do with that??

I accidently left my "Sporty Baby Bjorn" at home when we took our 2 week trip to visit family. After navigating the airport without a carrier, I decided to buy this one to get me through then I would pass it on to my friend who just had a baby. Let me say, I will NOT be passing it on as I do not wish her the discomfort and bad experience I had.
The entire time my little boy was sitting crooked in the carrier - there was no way to fix it, believe me I tried multiple times!!!
Forget easy in and easy out. The in and out were difficult as well as trying to get it adjusted.
There is no support whatsoever.
When he was front facing, I had to hold down the top of the carrier so it didn't hit him in the face. There was no way to keep it down.
DO NOT BUY THIS. I wouldn't even take it for free.
