We own a Sunshine Kids Monterey booster seat. It has latch straps. They are there so that you don't have to strap the booster seat in when it's not in use, for the safety of other passengers as it can be a projectile in a car crash. Also, nice that the seat doesn't tip like some boosters.
Do your research before giving out wrong information.

Booster seats don't have straps or hooks for the LATCH system. They just sit in the seat to "boost" the child up so they can use the lap belt in the car. I don't know why the website would have said that a booster seat has LATCH since booster seats don't attach to the seat. If you are looking for a seat that will use latch then you shouldn't be looking at booster seats.

I have had several Britax and Eddie Bauer Seats, all of which have been great, so I wanted this booster seat for my son. The MAIN reason I ordered it was the advertisement saying that it had LATCH. It's very annoying when the kids get in the car and have to spend 5 minutes putting their booster seats back on the seat because they have fallen off, so I thought this seat would be perfect. Well, it is nice looking and reasonably padded, but there's NO LATCH. There are no straps, no mention of it on the box or in the instruction manual. I live in Europe with an American car (military family). I actually asked my Mom to get the seat and send it, which she did, and then discovered that it had NO LATCH, so not only did we pay for the seat, but also for A LOT in shipping. I'm very upset with Target for advertising the seat in this way.

I am a single dad who takes his daughter's safety VERY seriously. I am a big believer in car seats...I'll probably make my daughter take her booster seat with her to college! I purchased this seat a few weeks ago and I couldn't be happier with it. My daughter loves her "big girl seat" and there are no "discussions" when it is time to go somewhere. She loves the cup holders and armrests. I have a ton of Eddie Bauer stuff...I know they make good quality stuff. She is very comfortable and has a place to rest her head when she falls asleep.
