We've had this car seat for nearly 2 years now and really do love it. With that said however, it might not work well for all children. The pillow on the back is a bit "puffy" and makes for an odd position for a child who is in the "in between" stages of toddler height. Our son usually drops his head forward when he falls asleep in the car anyway so it wasn't really a concern.
My nearly 3 year old has been in this car seat for trips lasting in upwards of 9 hours and been comfy and happy. Probably my only complaint is the cup holder doesn't stay on very well... but a little glue helps that if you want it on permanently.
The cover is very easily removed for cleaning when needed and I found the seat very easy to install and remove from my latch system.
Probably the best feature of this seat is the fact that it is a convertible seat. Our son weighs just 31 pounds now so I see us getting many more years out of this before he's too big. Not having to buy a car seat at every weight stage is reason enough for me to love it.

WE BOUGHT THIS CAR SEAT FOR OVER A YEAR NOW AND AT FIRST MY HUSBAND AND I BOTH LOVED IT SO MUCH...IT LOOKED REALLY NICE WITH BOTH OUR CARS, BUT NOT THAT I THINK ABOUT IT I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS FIRST. EVERY TIME MY DAUGHTER SLEEPS IN HER CAR SEAT HER HEAD TENDS TO FLOP OVER. I KEEP HAVING TO HAVE MY SISTER PICK HER HEAD UP FOR ME AND MAKE SURE SHE IS BREATHING FINE. WE ARE THINKING ABOUT GETTING ONE OF THOSE PILLOWS THAT GOES ON THE NECK FOR HER. THAT WAY SHE HAS MORE SUPPORT.

This seat is Hot, but the design is Not! The shoulder strap design is not good. When you get one shoulder strap on the, and try to put the next one on. It pulls the other strap off the shoulder. In most car seats each shoulder strap is locked where it can not pull the opposite side. Then there is the buckle that is too close to the Childs skin. In more expensive seats there is protective material to keep away from the baby. We do not have latch in our Taurus; we had to use the lap belt. The seat does not get “level to ground.” I am really confused as to what seat to buy, they all have something undesirable!

Not sure why everyone is bashing this car seat. We bought it this weekend. My husband had absolutely no problems installing it and my son just LOVES it.

We bought 2 car seats, one for each of our vehicles. After throwing the boxes and receipts away we realized we had made a HUGE mistake. First, installing rear facing was a mess. We had to take it to the health department for help. The directions are terrible. Secondly, the straps get twisted and tangled every time our son gets in and out of the car seat. After using this product for only 5 months we've just spent another few dollars on new car seats that actually work. This product should be pulled from the shelves. Buy a another brand before wasting your money on this.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago... i like it. It was easy to assemble and easy to move in and out of the car. It seems pretty comfy & roomy and my son's head did droop before I adjusted the head rest. Also, he's had a very hard time drinking from his cup while in the seat. I am returning mine and am planning on exchanging it for the graco nautilus for 2 reasons: it sits up a little higher- my son is always trying to stretch upwards to see things and I think he would prefer the backless booster when he gets older.

This car seat is terrible. I don't see how a baby can be comfortable and safe in this seat. When my son falls asleep his head is practically in his lap. Poor kid! I'm wondering what would happen to his neck if we ever got in an accident. I do not feel safe with him in this car seat and we've had it for too long,so I'm pretty sure Target won't take it back. My advice is to spend the extra money and get a better one. We also have the Maxi Cosi for our other car and he LOVES it! Think we'll have to invest in another Maxi Cosi for little Joey.

I'll echo the other reviewers (and wish I had read their reviews before registering for this piece of junk!). Difficult to install, the latch system is too short for rear-facing, the head rest makes my 8-month old son's head look down, and the cup holder doesn't clip/stay on. Eddie Bauer has no business designing car seats!

We bought this seat for my son when he was 8 months old and still rear facing. It worked very well...although I will agree that it made his head go a little forward and he didn't seem very comfortable. It was very easy to install in our Nissan Murano with the latch system. However, now that my son is 13 months old, I can't stand it. It sits SUPER low in the car...the poor baby boy can't see anything but just over the top of the dash board, which has been making him very cranky on our car trips! I am heading out today to look for a new car seat to prop him up a bit so he's not just looking at the back of my head while we're in the car! Will try and use this one again when he gets a little bigger...
