If an invitation only comes with an outer envelope, the outer envelope may have the option of being lined.

Reception Cards
Use these cards to invite guests to a reception. These cards can state the time and location of the reception, as well as additional information that will not fit on the invitation.
Respond Cards
Also known as RSVP cards, these cards are mailed with the invitation and are then sent back to the host of the event. The most commonly requested information on these cards are: Guests’ names, Number attending, Will attend, Unable to Attend, and meal selections We include envelopes with the hosts’ address printed on the front of them. Traditionally, the sender provides the postage for their guests to return these cards.
Informal Cards or Thank you Cards
Use these cards to thank your guests for their gifts and well wishes. Informal cards typically have your name(s) or monogram printed on the front. Thank you cards say 'Thank You' on the front. Envelopes are included.
Thermography
Otherwise known as Raised printing. Your wording will have an impressive raised, 3 dimensional effect. In technical terms, the lettering is raised by application of a powder that is fused by heat to the fresh ink.
Letterpress
Letterpress is a printing technique that embeds the wording into the paper. The letterpress works to sink the image into the surface of the paper, creating a textured, 3 dimensional effect.
Flat Print
Your wording will be flat-printed; not raised. In technical terms, your wording will be printed either via offset, lithography or on a digital press.
Engraved
A traditional process of printing, used for very formal events. The paper is pressed onto a metal plate, causing the letters to be raised; different than thermography.
Inner and Outer envelopes
These envelopes are not gummed and will not seal. The invitation and optional enclosure cards are placed in the inner envelope and the inner envelope is then placed in the outer envelope, which will be sealed by the sender.
Outer envelopes only
Some invitations come with formal inner and outer envelopes. This is not the case for this particular invitation.
Travel Accommodation Cards
Use these cards to invite out-of-town guests to a reception. These cards can state the time and location of the reception, airport or train information, list of hotels and prices, as well as additional information that will not fit on the invitation.
