Do your homework before you buy this product. I bought this before my baby was born, and I didn't do any research on this product. I turns out that my poor little girl was scrunch up and I was really worried if she could breathe. She did tolerate it, and would fall asleep. I also used it on a trip to the carribean. But the pain across my back was terrible and she is under 10 lbs. I did some research and spent $70 on the Bjorn. WHAT A DIFFERENCE.

After owning several others, this carrier has been my absolute favorite! The ease of putting it on and the comfort are unmatched. It offers a more natural feeling of "cradling" my baby, but with the abilty to have a free hand (or two!). Also, the soft, surrounding comfort offers a sense of security to Baby. Surely, anyone who has experienced discomfort, has not taken a few minutes to read the easy instructions included or seen Cindy Crawford whisk hers on. As far as baby being scrunched, this is a natural carriers that allows Baby's back to curve as it is intended while developing. Though I love my Bjorn, it is better suited for older babies who's spine can withstand downward pressure. Young babies and preemies (as mine was) need weightless, natural support for their delicate spine. And, unlike any other carrier, this one goes absolutely anywhere. I keep it in the diaper bag at all times since it folds so thin! My son loves it as much as I do.

I use a number of different slings for different occassions with my son, and I found the New Native to be very convenient for doing errands or eating meals. It was akward for my newborn, but at 3 months he really enjoyed it and fits it better. He falls asleep in it almost immediately. They sell a pillow designed to make it more accomodating for newborns, but I didn't try it.

I loved it, I bought two, one for me and one for my husband (larger size) We went all over with them, ball games, grocery stores (doesn't take up room in the cart)airplanes, up and down the streets of San Francisco. Great for church and cleaning the house. He loved being this close to me and I loved having both hands free. I wore him on my side (turned the sling) and was able to walk for exercise too. It also was great camaflague for breastfeeding. One peice of material, nothing to adjust or fall apart. And best part is it folds up to bearly nothing for luggage or diaper bags. We still use it to keep him at my hip and to take some of the weight off my arm

Love this sling because the baby is in a natural position to sleep, cradled near the warmth of their carrier. I use it when I take walks and when we're at home, so the baby can be near me in a comfortable position.
