An XM Satellite Radio prepaid service card is the easy way to start your XM experience or to add onto an existing subscription. And these cards make great add-ons if you're giving an XM radio as a gift.

Each card represents a specific dollar amount, rather than a specific number of months of service. For example, if you purchase a $30 card, you'll get up to $30 worth of service (subscription cost is $12.95 per month).

If you're adding onto an existing subscription, you'll be able to enjoy the full dollar amount. But if you're activating a new subscription, the standard XM activation fee will be deducted from the card, and whatever is left over will be applied toward the subscription.
