The straps are pretty comfortable and the way the large bag opens is really convenient. Many travelers complimented on the design of our bag. Another plus, you can easily fit 2 of these bags in standard lockers at western Europe train stations" |

"I'm 5'3" tall female and the backpack is just the right size for me. If it was any bigger I would probably pack too much weight for me to carry! The adjustable height location shoulder straps allowed me to get a comfortable fit in the smallest position. We are going to Europe for two weeks next year and will be using a Eurail pass to get around so I did not want to lug around a wheeled suitcase on city streets. We also do some overnight backpacking so I wanted a pack that had good straps and pads. So far it looks like a good purchase, we will see how it holds up to use next year." |

Date Posted: October 3, 2007 Reviewed By: Anonymous Customer from Reston, VA Review of High Sierra Railpass4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. "I took this pack on my first two-week trip in Italy. The big pack endured the airports well, and the day pack served very well as an organized container of daily needs. Nothing really special, but it all held together well and hung comfortably on my back. I also really like the three ways of wearing, though the side hand hold seemed untrustworthy (top handle was much better), and the shoulder strap also a little iffy. But big pack on back and small on front worked very well." |

Date Posted: October 27, 2007 Reviewed By: Kevin 808 from Pearl City, HI Review of High Sierra Railpass7 of 9 people found the following review helpful. "I had my first backpacking experience this past summer and because I wanted to purchase a bag that was cheap, reliable, functional and affordable. I found that in the RailPass from High Sierra. The pack was very comfortable, and was a perfect size for a backpacking trip. The day bags feature to be hooked on to the front of my body was a very safe feature. I didn't have to worry about pick-pockets because i kept all my important things in the front of me. The only downside i would say is that the day didn't have breathable straps like the main pack would have, so i would perspire easily. But this pack was the best bang for the buck bag out there. I thought it was better then my friends eagle creek that he spent at least $250 on and he had wheels!. It was the joke of our backpacking experience. 3 backpackers and a Roller. LOL Aloha, kevin" |
