| La Crosse Wireless Rain Center Know how much rain your garden receives with the La Crosse Wireless Rain Center. The ingenious design of this gauge allows you to know how much rain has fallen without ever going outside. The first section of the indoor display unit shows the total rainfall, while the middle line has a graphic display indicating whether the current rain has been light or heavy. Following this is an alarm that can be set to alert you when the total rainfall tops a specific amount that you define. The final section displays the total rainfall over the last 24 hours. All this information is received from the wireless rain collector placed outdoors up to 330 feet away. The outdoor gauge uses wireless technology to send information to the indoor console every six seconds, for immediate updates. The monitor can be placed on a table with the fold-out stand or hung on a wall. Both the gauge and indoor receiver use two AAA batteries (not included) for power.
