This unit clearly displays the time, day, date, indoor and outdoor temperatures, and moon phase, without giving a cluttered appearance to your home or office. The aluminum colored sides brilliantly contrast with the black clock face, and the large numbers allow you to read the time from a considerable distance. A remote sensor can be placed outdoors up to three hundred and thirty feet away, allowing you to know the outdoor temperature without ever going outside. This clock automatically sets from radio waves emitted by WWVB, the radio counterpart to the atomic clock in Fort Collins, Colorado, from up to 2,000 miles away. The radio waves automatically set your clock, or you can choose to set the time and date manually in either twelve or twenty four hour mode. An alarm with snooze button can also be set on the clock, and the temperature can be displayed in either Fahrenheit or Celsius mode. A large moon in the middle of the clock denotes the moon phase, and the clock automatically resets for Daylight Savings Time. The clock and transmitter both run on two AA batteries.
