A red light projection displays your preference of time, temperature, or both from three to six feet away onto a wall or ceiling for a few seconds. The orientation and brightness of the projection can be altered with the press of a button on the back of the unit, and the projection arm can be aimed up to ninety degrees to the front or back for versatile viewing. Indicators on the clock face show the current outside temperature and air pressure tendency, based on the information sent to the clock from the remote transmitter placed outdoors up to 80 feet away. An arrow pointing up or down informs you if the air pressure is rising or falling, and a sunny, sunny with clouds, or rainy icon indicates if the weather is expected to improve, remain stable, or worsen based on the air pressure. The clock receives a signal from WWVB, the radio station in conjunction with the atomic clock, to keep the most accurate time possible. This signal begins in Fort Collins, Colorado, and can be received from up to 2,000 miles away. Set the clock to your time zone, and use your choice of military or standard format. Two separate alarms for different waking times and a large snooze button add to the features of this diminutive clock. The unit uses three AA batteries (not included) or the included AC adapter for power. The outside transmitter is powered by two AA batteries (not included).
