| La Crosse Wireless Projection Weather Station Stay ahead of the weather with the La Crosse Wireless Projection Weather Station. This small clock offers a wealth of information at once. The top left section has the time in standard 12 or 24 hour format, followed by the seconds. The time is kept as accurate as possible, as an internal antenna receives a signal from WWVB, the radio station in conjunction with the atomic clock in Fort Collins, Colorado. Your clock can receive this signal from up to 2,000 miles away. This section also has a tower icon, which indicates the signal strength from WWVB. The right side of the screen has the day, as well as the date as per the atomic clock. Also shown here is the set alarm time and if it is active. The bottom left screen offers the current indoor temperature and humidity, followed on the left side by the oudoor temperature and humidity. This outdoor data is received from an outdoor transmitter, placed up to 330 feet away from the indoor console. The temperatures are noted in your choice of Fahrenheit or Celsius. The back of the unit features a projector which can display the time and outdoor temperature onto a wall or ceiling from three to six feet away. If batteries are used, the projection will only activate when the alarm sounds or the snooze button is pressed. The unit will project continually if using the included AC adaptor.
The center of the unit's display features a weather boy icon with a weather forecast icon and an arrow noting air pressure trends. The weather forecast icon features a sun, sun with clouds, or rainy icon, indicating whether the weather is expected to improve, stay the same, or worsen. The air pressure arrow points up or down to note increasing or decreasing pressure. A weather boy icon on the right also has a changing wardrobe based on the outdoor temperature and air pressure. The weather boy has fifteen different combinations of clothing and accessories. For example, if the weather is warm and sunny, the icon has on bathing trunks. If the temperature is warm but the air pressure is decreasing, the icon has an umbrella with his swimsuit. If the temperature is very cold and the air pressure is dropping, the weather boy appears in a coat, gloves, hat, and scarf surrounded by snowflakes with a snowman in the bottom right corner.
