| AcuRite Wireless Temperature and Humidity Station Check the outdoor temperature and humidity easily using this AcuRite Wireless Temperature and Humidity Station. This unit offers complete indoor and outdoor temperature information on one convenient console. The top line on the display notes the outdoor temperature in your choice of Fahrenheit or Celsius. This is received from a remote sensor placed outdoors up to one hundred feet away. An arrow pointing up, down, or straight indicates if the temperature has been rising, falling, or remaining constant for the past few hours. An external hygrometer in the sensor also measures the percentage of relative humidity, shown on the following line. The unit also records the daily high and low temperature, as noted on the next line on the screen. The bottom of the item has the indoor temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius, followed by the indoor percentage of relative humidity. The large values on this screen are easy to read, even from a distance away, and the white plastic housing adds a bright finish to the item. Silver colored plastic framing the face adds a modern feel to the unit, and the off white housing on the outdoor sensor completes the look. The indoor console uses three AA batteries (not included) for power, and the outdoor unit runs on two AA batteries (not included). Use the included stand to place the station on a flat surface, and mount the sensor to an outdoor wall, protected from rain and direct sun.
