| Oregon Scientific Weather Station with Atomic Clock Keep on top of weather changes from the comfort and security of the indoors with the Oregon Scientific Weather Station with Atomic Clock. This unit reads changes in temperature and humidity from an included remote sensor to predict the weather up to 24 hours in advance. Up to two additional remotes may be added (sold separately) for greater accuracy and forecasting. The top window of the display shows the forecasted weather conditions with convenient, easy to understand icons. The top line of the main window offers the current outdoor humidity and temperature, as well an indication of the sensor being read, signal strength, and sensor battery life. The next line indicates the indoor temperature and humidity at the main unit itself, as well as the battery life of the central display. The final section acts as an atomic clock, receiving a signal from the atomic clock in Boulder, Colorado from up to 2,000 miles away. This allows accurate time to be kept and constantly updated to precision standards, even automatically adjusting for daylight savings. This area also displays the current calendar date, day of the week, and moon phase. The entire display features an electroluminescent backlight, as well as a programmable alarm with an escalating volume feature. The main unit is powered by three AA batteries and the outdoor sensor runs on two AAA batteries (included). The indoor station includes an integrated table stand and may be placed on any flat and level surface, while the remote sensor may be used with the included stand or mounted to a vertical surface.
