La Crosse Wireless Forecast Station & Atomic Clock, Aluminum
Become a weather expert with help from the La Crosse Wireless Forecast Station & Atomic Clock. This station features several aspects of the weather on one simple screen. The top line tells the time according to the atomic clock in Boulder, Colorado, but can also be manually set and set to your time zone. An antenna in the clock receives the radio signal from WWVB in Fort Collins, Colorado, denoting the time from up to 2,000 miles away. The second line notes the day and date, followed by the indoor temperature and relative humidity. A smiling or sad face icon tells how comfortable your home is. The arrow on the following line indicates rising or falling air pressure, and an icon predicting whether the weather will improve, worsen, or stay the same over the next twelve hours. The next line notes the outdoor barometric air pressure, and then a section with a twelve-hour history of changing air pressure displayed as a graph. The bottom of the screen displays the outdoor temperature, received from an outdoor sensor that can be placed up to three hundred and thirty feet away. This station is flanked by aluminum colored panels on each side, which offer modern styling to the piece. The clock and sensor both run on two AA batteries (not included). This unit can receive information from up to three sensors. Place the La Crosse Wireless Forecast Station & Atomic Clock in your home and you will be a weather expert in no time. One year limited warranty.
